    A point of clarification for our viewers. In the transitions Paul (Slopey) our sweep rider is pulling on his snagged jacket cord :-) We just wanted to highlight that fact before we unwittingly offend anyone. Thanks team.

      Thanks, also we aren’t getting free product. This is how it all came about I really didn’t wanna make videos but became discouraged by so called TH-cam content producers. These people receive an item a bash plate, crash bars, set of foot pegs whatever it is and fit to their bike and call it the best set of whatever it is you can fit. Compared to what? Nothing they put one set of pegs on other than the standard ones and they’re the best ones you can use?

      @@rideadvtoursandworkshop3178 100% agree. You guys are really doing great work and big help to the community. I'm in the market for a new bike and it's between the T7 and the Husky 701 LR, being a tall big athletic guy, I'm really interested in all the setup recommendations on the base model T7 for someone my size. Hope you have a few big guys in the mix. Thanks again and look forward to your results in future videos.

    Another clean mod for the front seat mount is to remove metal sleeve from rubber grommets and fasten it to frame with flange down, with the stock seat mount hex bolt. Rubber grommets will slide over new posts and secure it. No new holes and no zip ties. Easily converted back to stock configuration if needed.

      As much as I like the T7, I am going with a 701 due to the weight, where I want to take it, dirt oriented, and I like to ride solo. I can only have one bike so that's it.

    • @rideadvtoursandworkshop3178
      @rideadvtoursandworkshop3178  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The wind protection is like that I like half fairing. It could be better I mean it’s obviously a compromise for everyone and styling.
      I’m reluctant to go taller or wider because it’ll detract from the real off-road part of the bike we like so much.
      I don’t find it that bad matter fact I thought it fine but obviously a few of my helmets work better than others. The Klim Helmets I have the F5 and the Krios are the best because of the peak designs.

    Hi Greg. Thanks for your tips and recommendations based on your experiences. You mentioned that you don’t run your phones on the cross bar but never came back to it. Why is that? The other question I have you is stock mirrors. Have you guys broken or damaged any. Is it worth the coin for after market ones? Cheers.

    • @rideadvtoursandworkshop3178
      @rideadvtoursandworkshop3178  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hey Travis. Stock mirrors we have broken one yes. Others maybe worth a look at and we will probably investigate that later on. I didn’t get back to the phone thing, basically we have worn the back mount rubbers on the tower support on one bike. Fact is that bike is the only one that has something (a gps) mounted up the top on bar.
      So out of seven bikes one has worn out the rubbers allowing the tower to flop around and that’s the only one with the GPS on it so I’m not sure and I wanna investigate it further

Also go to Europe trail riding in ther Pyranees (COVID permited) and to about 3000 to 4000 Miles. Would they last. Curnently using TKC 80's or Anakee Wild's, the rears just lasting one trip.

      Hi Michael, yeah we can’t can’t miles out of a TKC 80 but at least it grips, the Anakee wild does neither.
      They are both ok on the road, the front will heal and toe with a lot of heavy braking because it’s an aggressive off-road knobby.
      They’ll both do the miles if you’re not sideways spinning it up everywhere
