I upgraded to the UE Premier (Yes I dished out $3K cause I can afford it) from the BLON BL-03 and MY GOD! EVERY IN EAR HEADPHONE I'VE EVER USED IS AND WAS A LIE!!!! Now granted I felt the same way when I used my BLON BL03 as an introduction to IEMs after having used regular earbuds and that was an eye opener. I used my BLON BL03s for 2 years and were in love with them but I gave them to my wife to upgrade and I wanted to see what top of the line actually sounded like so I went straight to the UE Premiers after hearing about the UE Brand and my god this is like listening to the crispest most isolated and slightly focused warm sound you've ever heard like I was like jesus was whispering in my ear and I could hear him. I would put these to a similar experience when I used the Sennheiser HE 1s for the first time at a demo and that was amazing and truly blew me away and made me realize I had no idea what sound was until this. I'm definitely nervous about a driver breaking or giving out in these so I'm gonna use them every chance I get. I even got the warranty and insurance on them just in case cause man these are a pretty penny. But SOOOOOOO worth it!
First! LOVE these in-ears. Thanks Tiago! The separation you get with these makes it so easy to hear things straight from the source. Highly recommend investing in great in-ears to protect your ears. Also, I look TIRED. Was a long few days at this conference and travel and all 😂
Investing into custom IEMS instead of more gear is so under rated. Best investment I’ve made into my craft and once you hear music how it’s intended to be heard your mind is blown
I've had the UE 7pro and since December I have the UE11Pro, wich sound AMAZING!! So detailed and fit like a glove, perfect, and they don't leak. Ps. The 7pro were with a digital earscan, the 11pro molded with pasta wich fits way better imo. Take care guys! ✌️
Been looking at a set of the UE 11 Pro, but I just can't justify it. I have a set of cheap Shure 215s that work good enough when I'm on acoustic. They don't cut the mustard when I'm on bass (want a lot more low end punch, so I don't keep digging in harder thinking I'm just not playing right!) My entire church has always been stage monitors, but since I started playing (me being the new guy!) I started using IEMs, and a LOT of the players and the vocalists have been asking about IEMs. The sound guys want everyone to go IEM of course.
It’s a big expense, yes. But hearing things better and protecting you ears goes further than a lot of people think. You do not need to get top of the line but I’d say any of the options from UE will be a step up from the 215s!
Good amount of lower-priced models too! We are just speaking on our experience with our specific sets. If you play a lot and use in-ears, having a quality pair over more gear would be my recommendation 👍🏼
I may look into these, they are expensive but so is everything else. I would love to hear how clear they are with 21 drivers, mine are 7 and sounds really good. Thanks for the info!!
Very interesting. They seems to be great. I may buy one sometimes in the future. I have been using Shure for a long time and just bought another brand to try out (will receive it next week). I am just wondering, if you have about USD 600, would you buy the two driver version of Ultimate Ears or a 8 or 10 driver version of a cheaper brand (pure based on sound quality)?
I would love to do a personal comparison of these and my Westones. Undoubtable the more you pay the better the quality but 10x better? Maybe! I've spend over $4k on a few guitars different guitars and honestly didn't think they were 2x better than my "go-to" $1-2k guitars. I'd love to hear the difference. Can these be returned for full refund if they don't measure up?
The law of diminishing returns is true for most things. A $300 set of headphones is going to sound way better than a $150 set. Same with guitars. But a $5000 set is going to sound marginally better than a $2500 set - just like with guitars. Once you near the upper limit of quality, you have to pay a lot more to get a marginally higher level of quality

They seem nice but also cost the same price as my car
