I've made it an habbit, to come to this masterpiece once in every 3-4 months. So that each time i hear this it's like hearing it for the first time and get all the chills.
Seraph Piano Sheets Its not the instrument bro its the plugin from Native Instruments called Kontakt from which u can get any type of realistic sound. It is also used in making Electronic Music in various music making softwares like Fl Studio and Ableton Live. But this Instrument is so good :)
In this case i believe complementing the instrument and not necessarily the Plug in hes using is valid, no other Midi Controller can mimic the subtle nuances of a reed/string/brass instrument quite like this.
AJ Isquierdo I play flute, and it doesn’t sound too much like the actual thing. It’s more realistic than some other synths, sure, but you can’t really mimic the sound of a woodwind instrument with a keyboard. The Equator is a bit more than that, but it still doesn’t make the right noise. This synth is enough for someone not looking to drop $1,500 on an instrument and then a good few thousand more on lessons, but for me? I’d go with the physical instrument.
I'm tired of the "oooh this instrument is better than all the rest" shit... I've seen it with pipe organs, with synths, with electric organs, and they're just instruments. They have characteristics, unique sounds and features, but most importantly they can be played.
Of all the videos I’ve seen demonstrating the Seaboard, this is by far the best. Not only is it a wonderful composition, and the player clearly skilled at the nuance intonation on the glissando ribbon, but above all, it demonstrates the Seaboard as a direct extension and abstraction of the piano! This video really shows what it can do to someone already familiar with piano and really, really, really makes me want one! I’d like to echo some sentiments of other commentors: 1) Please extend this composition into a longer piece and share it with us! 2) If that piano sound is not part of the default Equator package, please tell us how to get it, or better, include it in the default package!
I couldn't believe why I've never heard of this until I read your comment. Damn shame too, cause I'd order one right now if it were signifigantly cheaper!
The mosquito buzzes in your ear. "Shoo!" you say. The mosquito responds with more buzzing. "SHOO!" you repeat, swatting at the insect. The mosquito stops buzzing. You would've fallen back asleep within second had your ear not been dragged up with unfathomable strength by that mosquito. It switches to your hand and you are dragged out the window and into the night. It drags you thousands of feet above your town and brings you to a forest. You spot a light in the trees. The mosquito drags you to it and drops your into the glowing circle. You open your eyes and find yourself in a beautiful lush forest. A small voice speaks up. "Welcome human." says the mosquito.
I can’t even count the amount of times I’ve listened to this. Every time I hear this performance my mind is blown yet again. I want one of these so bad. piano vibrato! PIANO VIBRATO! Like are you kidding me??? How freaking amazing does it sound!
How can you even end this piece leaving listeners craving for more. 5 years and I’m still thirsty for every single note in this music. Wish it never ends.
I never understood why ROLI discontinued the GRAND. It's a beautiful autonomous instrument that doesn't have to be connected to a clumsy smartphone or a laptop to produce sound.
@@CybertroninfiniteOfficial The 88 key version came out as a limited edition model (88 pieces only) so it was way overpriced as a boutique instrument (9000$). But the 61 key version was at 3000$ and i guess it might move to the 2000-2500$ area at this time which is quite fair i think.

@@iGetNoRespect21 Here you go, calling people Karen without understanding what a Karen is. A Karen is a term that POC have for white women who are entitled, rude and often racist and will not hesitate to call the cops. Now I would argue that you misrepresenting someone else's history and culture and then following it up with a rude remark shows your entitlement. Samurai were a class of powerful military warriors usually coming from nobility. They were the government and while they alone were not in control they almost always held powerful positions in the government due to their "military rank" so to speak. Originally Bushi Samurai were all aristocrats that were also warriors but for some time other powerful military leaders were allowed into the samurai. As feudalism was phased out so were Samurai and so the samurai class became closed to all who weren't already samurai and they moved to bureaucratic positions in a new urban environment. Historically Samurai had the luxury of a wealthy lifestyle for their family, power and the best weapons and protective equipment at the cost of military service, loyalty and honor although this sense of honor was not viewed upon equally by all as some of the poorer farming class saw their defense of rich land owners (some of which were samurai themselves) as unjust. Now Samurai had lost their need in service and with that they were losing their wealth and lifestyle and so some adapted to the merchant lifestyle, most became tradesmen as that was fitting of their skills while the higher ranking ones took the civil bureaucratic positions in the government that were definitely a step down from their old status but not the worst deal, some lower ranking samurai banded together and supported western interests hoping to gain power and restore themselves to former samurai glory but their efforts were of no avail. In the end most Samurai families became normal middle class families over time and most accepted it although some richer samurai landowners who invested their spoils of war and property into industry did manage to become very wealthy and prominent families in the new age of the urban technologically advanced japan. So you see, Samurai would not be the ones marching from "their villages" to fight the government because they were the rich and powerful protectors of the government that often looked down upon the poor farmers in their villages. Poor people did not like the stuck up Samurai of the time who would kill innocent village people in the name of honor simply because they offended them. What western media has done with the concept of Samurai and other parts of Japanese history and culture is cultural appropriation but nobody will say anything because it sells extremely well.
