I have been researching and am interested in buying a used BMW X5, my preference is a 7 seater, the second generation (2011 after the facelift). In my research, I have come across a rather intriguing issue regarding the specifications of the vehicle, concretely the weight and the dimensions. The official dimensions and weight of this model seems to be the following: 4.84x1.98x177 and 2.237Kg, respectively.
However, I have come across some versions, mainly from Singapore, with very different specifications. In those versions of the BMW X5, the dimensions and weight are: 4.87×2.19×1.69 and 1.804kg (around 400kg less than the previous referred weight).
I have asked so many people about this issue, but still no positive answer so far. Would you please explain me the possible reason for these differences in the specs.
