Commercial surrogacy is good or bad for our nation?.....there may be many reason for prohibited the commercial surrogacy....why don't u mention that factors?
For commercial reasons, women are exploited from greedy humans, unfortunate truth. There have been incidents, when a child was born disabled, those commissioned parents refuse to take it. Such newborn were abandoned on streets.
As per the legislation definition Sec 2(zg) “surrogate mother” means a woman who agrees to bear a child (who is genetically related to the intending couple or intending woman) through surrogacy from the implantation of embryo in her womb
@@SureshBadaMath The line you are mentioning means child must be genetically related to indending couple or woman. It does not mean surrogate mother should be genetically related to intending couple. Please re-read it carefully.
Will a couple hv to be married for 5 years prior to surrogacy.what about those who are married late n can't reproduce due to medical reasons.this is direct violation of reproductive rights of a couple
As per this act conditions, only 25 - 35 year old women are allowed. On the day of embryo transfer, age of surrogate mother must not be less than 25 year or nor more than 35 year. Surrogate need not to be a relative.

Should the surrogate mother necessarily be a genetic relative or will any willing woman do ?

No surrogate mother need not to be a close relative. After reading this act, it is very much clear that relative condition is not required.
