Spent an hour trying to understand the instructions and other videos, waste of time, watched yours and did it in five minutes, awesome! Keep up the good work 😁
Omg.. I stumbled upon your video after a very confusing frustrating video from the manufacturer. You made this SUPER EASY and explain quick and easy. Thank you so much!!!❤😊
Awesome video, simplifies installation to three easy steps. Grayco should send you a stipend for your great instructional video, much better than their provided documentation. Cheers!
Hello from NYC….Just wanted to say thank you for this easy explained Instruction Video! I just watched like 20 other videos b4 I came across yours. You’ve helped me and my 2 year old out so much and all it took was 3 minutes. It was straight to the point without too much talky talky about things other than what you said the video was about. So again THANK YOU and have a Blessed day 😊
Very good understandable video! Thank you! One detail which could be added is that you have to pull out the strap completely to get it in ‘childseat mode’, meaning it blocks any strap movement in case of a crash and you can really pull the seat firm.
You are my savior after watching many videos that didn’t make sense I finally find yours.you are amazing 🤩 i feel like i wanna hug you lol ❤❤❤❤thank you for the knowledge 😊
I believe the lower anchor attachments are important that will help the car seat not to move front and back. Refer Section 7-A Page 43 and 44 of the manual.
@@mikemesaros4329 It does. The front anchor needs to be adjusted. To do so, you have to open the front cover completely. I will try to post something if the manual is not clear. I also had the same issue but after a few try and a help from my friend, I got it resolved
Yes, you have to open the part where the child sits, slide the anchors up and through the orange area and loosen the anchor straps almost all the way. It is much more secure to use the anchor straps
@@mikemesaros4329 Yes they will, but you have to move them from the rear-facing position to the forward-facing position You do this by removing the lower seat padding to gain access to the LATCH strap. Then you simply slide the strap up and back to the forward-facing-install position
Fits perfectly rear-facing in our truck, which has a slightly smaller back seats. th-cam.com/users/postUgkx6_FKRYB2ClSPRyjcd8HptiCS3EiQoNX4 Feels as comfy and plush as our Graco Contender carseat.
Hi there PhillipsFamBabyJourney, I just wanted to point out that where you say at 1:57, that “you no longer need the bottom latches for forward facing…” is not correct. I almost thought the same as you. In fact, you can and must absolutely use the bottom latches for forward facing also! You have to unbutton the cushion and slide the bottom strap to the forward facing (orange slots or the booster skis if booster position). It is explained here in this video: th-cam.com/video/qij5If__L0U/w-d-xo.html I just did this. The car seat is so much more taut and sturdier now, that it was just using the seat belt. It’s moving a lot less than just using the seat belt to anchor. The manual does not do a good job of explaining this, but pictures show they are using the bottom strap too. Can you please change it in your video as well? There seems to be a lot of people who’ve done it just like you’ve explained and following what you’ve described. It’s safer to have the bottom anchor strap too. Have a good one! God Bless!
Yes you can use the latches in forward facing mode after rerouting the latches but once the child weighs more than 45pounds per the manual you can no longer use the latch system in forward facing mode.
Hi i enjoyed watching your front facing carseat video. I have a need for you to pls advise where to find your rear facing baby carseat video for my baby
YOU DEFINITELY need the bottom latches for extra safety. This is wring information. Please, if anyone is eber confused always reach out to your nearest fire station and they will definitely helo you out with accurate information. You STILL NEED TO hook the bottom latches to the car so the carseat doesn't shift around when driving.
Per the manual on page 21, you can use the latches in forward facing mode until the child weighs 45 pounds. Then you must use the seatbelt. She is not doing anything unsafe by using the seat install method. Also most car seats require use of either the seat belt or latch system to install not both as this can actually make the seat unsafe in an accident.
Yes that’s correct, but once the child weighs more than 45pounds you can no longer use the latch system in forward facing mode. You must use the seat belt. Just fyi for those who are unaware of weight limits since these manuals are confusing.
Thank you so much for this. I didn't even waste my time with the manual for installation. This was straight forward and to the point. Well done!
OMG! Who needs an instruction book! I was so lost and you made it so easy! Thank you so much from Safta. (And elated you have your baby girl.

I just came here to say the same thing!!
Your video was my 3rd tutorial video and your video is clear and straight forward and by far the best one of the three I watched!

I love these videos! Especially when my husband isn’t available to show me how to install and uninstall our daughter’s carseat!
Wow.. this is really great info. I have been struggling to setup properly, but your instructions were crisp and clear. Thanks much

Thank you, thank you, thank you! Everyone who has tried to install a car seat knows why I’m so excited at this video!
Perfect, ty, couldnt even find my right model from the graco channel and this was a perfect demo, showed everything graco leaves out.
Thank you!
Watched the video and took me
Glad to help!
Was reading the manual that came with but found it a little confusing. Your video helped me so much, thank you!
I just spent an hour figuring out that last part in your video. Im glad i finally found it before i returned the seat🤣
I don't think I heard the weight requirement for forward facing.
You are my savior after watching many videos that didn’t make sense I finally find yours.you are amazing 🤩 i feel like i wanna hug you lol ❤❤❤❤thank you for the knowledge 😊
You can continue to install the car seat forward facing using the latch system. You just need to move the latch straps to the forward facing position
Yes but once the child weighs more than 45pounds you can no longer use the latch system in forward facing mode. You must use the seat belt.
Best video to understand this car seat thank you!
I have this exact same model. Thank you so much for this video. I just installed it. Sigh, my baby is growing.
Tell me about it! I just installed my second one for my one year old and was in my feelings!
Wow! Thank you so much for posting. It's so much easier to watch it being done then to read the manual. Great job on the video :)
Thanks!
Thank you for your quick and easy steps to set this up. Much appreciated. Happy holidays and HNY to your beautiful family. ❤
Thank you so much for helping make this transition so easy for me!
Thank you!! Your video was the best straight forward and right to the point. I have twin boys.

Thanks!
Excellent video! Simple and straight to the point. Thank you

When front facing the real anchors will not reach.

Really works well. Should have bought one sooner.
Best video!! thank you so much! Really fast and super helpful
Thank you for this video! So useful
this video is better than the graco one - much simpler
Thank you! I was confused with the manual but you made it super easy to understand 😊
Thank you for your super helpful informational video.
Thank you so much for this video sis 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Thanks. You helped a lot!
Great video, thanks!
Great video thank you!
Thank you so much! This helped me sooo much :)
My pleasure!
After I install it, I cannot change the seat level position from 4 to 3. Do you know why? I am using anchor belts, not sure if that matters .
Are you suppose to keep the bottom cushion on there when installed forward facing?
You can remove it it's totally your preference. I did because it gave my girl more space in the seat.
@@PhillipsFamBabyJourney late comment here. But the slim fit manual says the bottom cushion must be removed when forward facing. 😊
Thank you for sharing!!!
Hi i enjoyed watching your front facing carseat video. I have a need for you to pls advise where to find your rear facing baby carseat video for my baby
This helped me...thanks. I just installed it
Glad to help!

Awesome video
Just an FYI that you cannot use the head insert FFing.
I am having the worst time with adjusting the straps for my son, they are super tight on him. Is there an easy way to do this?
❤thanks alot

Thank you - you made that easy !!!
There’s a way you can properly install your car seat using that same rear facing gray belt.
