I was at this game, my first Cowboys game with my grandpa, 12 years old. Thanks for posting this, wonderful memories!

Steve Beuerlein saved that season for us. He was a great backup.

MC Hammer was on the sideline for this one with Deon. I also remember the long Black Trenchcoat Glanville wore.
As I exited the stadium, they announced Emmit as season rushing champion. Great game.

Hey....where is Deion? Oh...thats right...he made a biznezz decision not to even attempt a tackle or even attempt to be in the picture.

U DO KNO HE'S COVERING THE REC ON THE OTHER SIDE of the FIELD? WHY EVEN MENTION HIM(says alot about u, AND DALLAS IS MY TEAM)??

Mike isn't even really THAT open. They got 3 guys on his side of the field. looks like LB in short/flat zone, CB in man, and the safety in deep zone. Risky throw that takes a quick read, great timing and accuracy. Great throw by Steve, Troy also made those throws look easy. They struggle these days because they get good receivers, but Dak is just not a guy who can make throws like that consistently.

In my opinion, this was Irvin's best year as a Cowboy's receiver go back and look at all the awesome cornerbacks he destroyed that year it's a who's who trust me!

He was a safety blanket for a lot of back up qbs for Dallas. 1991 was an impressive year for him. 1995 to me was his big year and had he not lost his mind with living in the limelight, couldve transitioned that into 1996. One of the best to ever do it, fearless on 3rd down on the slant.

Tecmo Super Bowl has Beurelein on the Raiders. How dare Japan get another roster move incorrect.

The rosters were based on the 1990 season. That’s why Agee was FB instead of Johnston. Technically, Bo Jackson shouldn’t be in the game if it was based on the 91 season rosters.

Steve was the a good quarterback. Why they benched him so aikman could lose the 91 playoff game, we'll never know. I know troy was crying when Steve won the wildcard game and every game he started in.

Steve wasn't doing much against Detroit in the 1st half, so Johnson was looking for a spark. That's why he started Aikman in the 2nd half.

@@dk6173 i was there and i agree it was a stupid move putting troy in.

@@dk6173 the way i remember it troy was crying because he wanted to play in a playoff game he didn't earn. Where did you get this whole "spark" thing? Did you copy and past it from Wikipedia? Because that is exactly word for word on the wiki web page.

When I met Michael a few years back I brought up this play. He said "Yeah, I did do that" with a slightly sheepish grin on his face.
Side note- This was Merlin Olson's last game as a commentator.

Leon Lett, why did you try to copy this move in the super bowl?? He saw Michael do it and thought he could do it. Leeeeeeoooon!!!
