Wow i cant believe that just worked! Good tips! Ive been pissed off at the manufacturer and the store that sold it to me for way too long, now its working gangbusters! i was literally about to throw it away, took 5 minutes to fix and i learned something new. Thank You!

Thanks for posting! This was a huge help, and in my case, the little rubber flaps simply needed to be adjusted, not replaced with the cut-outs (they must have shifted so as to not be covering the little holes where they flap). Again, thanks for taking the time to help folks out!

Had this exact same problem. Put a dab of silicon on the black rubber piece to secure it and it's working perfectly now. Picked up for 99 cents at the thrift store! Thanks Smoky!
