Did this one today, I'm doing them every week day as I'm a gym fanatic, you are helping my mental health so much. Enjoyed this one as I am missing swimming a lot! I used to swim competitively as well.
Thank you for this video. I had my left ankle fused in 2 areas a few days ago and I was bummed about not being able to do aerobic exercise. I decided to look up videos on youtube for just the upper body and your videos popped up. I just did this one 4 times in a row and according to my Fitbit, I burned 308 calories! Just by moving my arms constantly =) I will be doing this again tomorrow! thanks again!
Okay I am athletic that has a bad injury that will side line me a minimum of 8 weeks (more tests to determine if could be even longer) so I am so worried about losing all I have spent years developing and also worried about gaining fat - so been checking out videos but so many on youtube are typical crap but I like this one and the guy leading us - much appreciated.
Because I'm in a skilled nursing and rehab facility, I'm not able to get to the pool right now. Therefore I started doing these exercises instead. They not only increase my breathing, but they also work my stomach as well. I am going to keep on doing these exercises.
I did this workout after the no equipment HIT and I am feeling it in the shoulders. Unfortunately, I had the shoulder injuries from repetitive equipment use because I didn't know any better. Love the workouts though. the yoga usually ends my day.
Hi Ben just come back to working out, been bad, chronic pain for months. Can you please tell me which wrist weights you have please, are they still ok now? I've looked for wrist weights, but not sure which ones to buy. Thanks for all you do Ben.
Hi Ben! I just have found your videos from TH-cam and these are great for my patients as I work A physiotherapist with💗 Sorry my english, I'm from Finland 🤭
I didn't do the whole thing. But I will work up to it. How often can you do this? I also do your other workouts too, so not sure if I am over doing it?
It's really up to you and your goals. One person might be able to do 2 X a week another might do 5x. It's something I'll be providing as soon as I'm a qualified personal trainer
Hi there. I was wondering how heavy the weights are that you are using. I need to order wrist weights, but I don’t know what to go with. The ones you linked further down don’t seem to be available. Thanks in advance.
Does this get rid of the weight all over? I suffer with severe dizzy spells and I know I need to lose weight but my illness means on most days I can't walk xx
I’ve been searching TH-cam for a couple of days now, looking for straightforward wheelchair workout video. Thank you so much Ben👩🏻🦽 I really thought I was gonna choose a video done by a female, but this one seems to be exactly what I was looking for 🤗 God bless you for sharing 🙏🏻😊
Thank you man. I became an amputee due to gas gangrene last year and I’m wheelchair bound for a bit. I need to loose weight to I appreciate this. I don’t have any weights so I had to do it without anything.
Google "calorie counter" there should be a site where you type in all your information and it'll give you a number. It won't be super accurate but it's a good starting point. To lose weight you want to have less calories than that number. (200-500 less is ideal) If it's not working then slowly decrease the amount
2 or 3 if you were only doing this 😊 but feel free to add in other workouts I've done. As long as you get 48hrs rest after working a specific muscle you should be all good 👌
@@AdaptToPerform Thanks :) I try to mix this exercise with some exercices of the 20 min fat burning video and some cardio with my handbike. It's just tough to come up with a good schedule
Honestly it's difficult to tell as there's so many factors that go into it and not too much science for wheelchair users. Yes it will burn calories but unless you measure it with specific equipment you'll never know. I know that's not what you want to hear but I recommend you look at your diet first. Eating less is easier for weight loss. Get plenty of fibre and water too
I really enjoyed this quick and easy workout. Can definitely feel the burn as I type these comments. Will definitely revisit...... My shoulders are talking....... :-)
Tyvm for a workout that I can do in my wheelchair
Thank you so much for everything you do at ATP for folks like us Ben.

Those are wrist weights. About 2kg each
@@AdaptToPerform Thank you for this video! I'm looking to buy some wrist weights. What weight do you recommend for beginners?
For a workout like this 1kg on each would work, if you are a higher level quad maybe 0.5kg?
