- In this video, featuring Albany Palladium flock wallpaper, I show you so many tips and tricks on how to install this very difficult material. In this video, I use the following: Dynamite 234 wallpaper paste, A 9 - inch wide paint roller to apply the wallpaper paste, a wallpaper three wheel rolling press, a plastic wallpaper smoother, a pencil, a 48 inch level, several pro plus sponges, and a breakaway knife with cartridge blade replacements, Two ladders, and a scaffold plank from Werner.

Thank you so much for posting this. I just hung flock for the first time. I came out amazing. I watch this video first and got a pretty good understanding for the behavior of this wallpaper. I didn't freak out and give up after it started bending and torqing. I remembered this video and worked it out! I am kind if addicted to wallpapering now. 😄
I am planning on getting something similar for my bedroom and doing it on half the wall. It’s velvet heirloom damask.
I have hung regular wallpaper many times but I have never worked with hand painted velvet and i am a little nervous. You video has really helped a lot.
What would you recommend for glue to hang it?
You can do it! Don’t be afraid to do it! Use dynamite 234 paste. Get 2 gallons of it, roll it on with a paint roller and then “book it.” Meaning...fold without bending, putting pasted side back to back with each other and let it set for.6 minutes. Then hang.
