Grandpa graced my YT short feed and I instantly subscribed. I'm 48 and will continue to game until the good Lord takes me. Game on Grandpa, game on!
Same grandpa is the goat
I first saw some of his sniper shorts and was instantly hooked!!! Of course I had to subscribe!!
I'm 48 aswell. My dad bought a Atari console 84 and we played it way to much. Since then I love gaming. I will never stop :)
LOL!! i am 44 and did the same. BATTLE FIELD is where it is!!
Same! I´ve been binge watching the VoD´s all day
Go Grandpa.. US NAVY.. Corpsman.. I still play at 55 years old.. GTA 5 and COD 3 and 4.. My grand kids are not old enough yet to play
Hell yeah Doc!
Hey man, in fairness when CoD 3 and 4 came out as with GTAV you were over 10 years younger. Keep them gears grinding man. You just need a little faith, Arthur! I have a plan.
start them early with mario :D
@@TactiSmolKoko no with cod 1 gotta start them off right
What about COD 5? Many COD players regard WaW as the best COD you have to play that one too.
62 year old gamer here.. starting with Pong and never stopped. Started my YT channel when I retired at 60, its been a blast feeling the same thrills as I did playing Asteroids in the 70s. YOu are an inspiration... keep it goin! :)
Me too. Pong first when I was, what, ten? And then pinball and arcade games in the 70's (thank god for pinball, Missile Command, Galaga and the like because I got decent enough to actually hustle it a bit at my university bar--made my rent some months but at least a beer or two!) Still game a bunch but some hand issues are starting to affect the game. Whatever. Always something out there. Adapt. Cheers!
@@Buzzkill-wn7tf I had to switch to a vertical mouse from my rollerball , made a big difference in hand and finger numbness...just took some getting used to
@@ajc5930 Always!
I'm a younger gentleman just turned 22, been playing games since 2009, man I must say you've seen the golden days of gaming. I'm almost jealous, I gotta ask tho, how do you feel seeing how advanced games have gotten? Must be caring to see games like red dead 2, and gta 5 look so goof when you were playing pong and donkey Kong in the golden days
@@urmum5211 Honestly, its pretty amazing how far things have come... and ... how much they have stayed the same. Each year.. theres a new mega hyped game.. that breaks barriers in play style or graphix, that launches to bugs and glitches... It may or may not ever get fixed... but the funny thing for me is that people act like this is a recent phenomena. Pushing code to its limits means you are always gonna be going into the great unknown, whether it Atari Pitfall, Tribes, Planetside, Bioshock.. or RD2, Cyperpunk and Ark Ascended. But as long as there are devs out there willing to try something new, I'll be there to play it :)
This person adaptating to technology is very admirable this tells you that he is not a stagnant person and he keeps pushing forward
He's a pod person (probably like you). Sitting down all day is the root cause of his issues. He's just making things worse.
@@BlackRain_ well i rather be like him than to be like you, youre a negative person
@@angeloflores2614 Please do. Please keep doing exactly what he is doing!
@@angeloflores2614 Please do carry on being like him! Stay in your pod, eat your bugs!
@@BlackRain_ you are so lonely i pity you. So much negative around thats why your lonely
Thank you for your service. Really enjoy watching you play great channel.
I completely agree. I'm 70 and have been gaming for many years. Only first person shooters. JayDog. I am slowing down and spending more time with my Ham radios, N6WIP and am now in VR using the Quest 3. My doctor told me it is ok to play because it will keep my eye-hand-mind coordination up. Best words I ever heard. Cheers GrndaGaming 🙂
You should also get into streaming, I love the fact you Ole timers are doing this.. It's amazing and badass! Game on sir! Respect
Thank you. I used to stream on TWITCH but a few youngsters made fun of an old retired guy streaming while playing Ghost recon Wildlands, Sniper Elite (All of them) Battlefield (again, all of them) and several other FPSers. Thanks for the note. Made my day. Guess I'll have to fire them up again. Cheers@@Rockfordfosgate3406
I love that the older folks aren't dismissing new tech and culture! Really dope to see you get into VR
I have autoimmune disease and feel pain every second of my life. Seeing someone who escape from pain the same way I do and describe it with exactly the same words I do makes me feel I am not alone. Thx.
Hope for you the best stay strong and frag them all :) GReetings
Gramps you made my day, i too am a gamer myself and i lost my own grandpa due to heart complications but I'm truly glad to have you now, watching you play these games is like a joyful ride, you bring people happiness and thank you for your service....and i love you ❤❤❤❤
Lord please keep this man with us as long as possible. People like this man keep hope in this world alive
As a 21 year old, with a generation that is having problems it inspires me to follow channels like this and learn good advice that could help my future. And support such a person.
Hats off to you, Sir! I am a young veteran and I must say you have been a blessing in my feed and an inspiration!Thank you for your service!
Being 52 years old myself, I can relate. I have worked construction my whole life and my body hurts all the time, every day. I have been gaming since the Pong days all the way to the present. Keep on going sir, you are a great man, and a good gamer. I will play video games until the day I die.
Thank you for your service. I watch your streams with my step dad who served as a marine. We love to see how much you've already grown and we can't wait to see you take off more! Sending love from Wisconsin!!
Now I know what my generation of Grandpas would look like! You really entertained me even at my most lonely days. Thank you Grandpa! I have never experienced what its like to have a grandfather, so I declare you my long lost granpa from far away.
You got a young soul my friend. Your content is great and hilarious.
It's amazing how games can transport you to another place and just let you disconnect from whatever troubles you may have for awhile. Keeps me sane in this stressful world we live in.
Thank you for your service. It's really fun watching you enjoy many of the same games I do! Hope things get better with the pain
This is so entertaining! I'm 38 and I'm loving this. I wish all the old timers would be open to this
Please believe me, you’ve been seen as far more than merely a blip on the radar. From a Gen Z-er, for whatever thats worth, it’s exciting, comforting, and more than a pleasure to see you - particularly at your age - enjoy gaming like so many of us do. Keep going as your health allows!!!
Wow what a story.. Served in Vietnam and met the legendary Carl Brashear! 😮 (for you young kids.. Lookup movie "Men of Honor"). Thank you for your service and thank you for the content / livestreams :)
I'm not a gamer and honestly get stressed when I watch people play games, but I absolutely adore this man and am so happy he receives so much love and support. Please take care, Grndpa and all the veterans out there. We love you, and thank you for every sacrifice you and your family have made for our country.
My second favourite gramps. Ha
May God bless and keep you and yours safe.
Blessings from the uk
Im not from the U.S, but my respect and love for you is high. Thank you so much for being with us and we appreciate you so much!
You're still a young man at heart ❤️
I love what you do and im sorry about the pain you go through.. im so sorry for what happened to you in that incident. But im glad your doing better and you've found a way to help!
Grandpa gaming is probably one of the best gamers I watch and I look up to him whenever I play all of these fps games because he's incredibly good at them and I sometimes I just get this feeling that he's going to be at the very top of streaming and gaming one day. Keep putting in the hard work grandpa 👍
Grandpa first and foremost I just wanna say thank you for your service, secondly I wanna say I love you and your content. Seeing your videos just make me happy and gives me hope for some reason.Signed your 27 yr old TH-cam Grandson
Good stuff grandpa! Found your channel on my shorts feed as well and subbed immediately! I am 49 years old and have been gaming since I was 5. I hope to also be able to game for as along as I am able to! Can't wait to see more!
Truly thank you for your service. I'm only 24 but I've been gaming all my life and this is truly inspiring. I really wish more people had access to gaming or access to more information about how to get into it because you're an example of how much it can change someone's life. Keep up the awesome work!
Firstly, thank you for your service. I come from a UK family of men who served. I did not. However, I have been saying that people have been underestimating the impact that serving has, both mentally and physically. I have seen it within my own family many times. You have my respect. Also, I have always said that people should not underestimate the power of gaming. It helps millions every single day yet all you ever seem to hear is "Gaming is for kids", "You're wasting your life" or "Video games promote violence"...no doubt you have heard it all yourself. This is all despite the evidence to the contrary.
Finally, thank you for doing this interview. People need/needed to see this. Keep it up
the quality of this interview is just soo high. damn impressive and very comfortable to watch!
I honestly assumed he played on console but Gramps is PC master race, respect! I love seeing old folks playing and enjoying video games, definitely brings me joy.
I've been watching Grandpa for years, and over those years, he's become like my grandpa. You may be a speck on the radar, but you don't realize the impact that you have had ❤️ game on Grandpa
Keep it up grandpa ❤ you’re so strong! Thank you for your service to our country ❤
Just discovered grandpa gamer… please many more years to come.
Gratitude for the inspiration and for being on the network as a streamer!!!
You might not be as big as the other fellas on twitch, but you got honor, respect, and my undivided attention when I watch your stream. Keep it going, Sir.
Thsnk you for your service Grandpa! Love your channel!
I don’t understand why people say you don’t actually play the video games it’s so dumb🤦🏻♂️I don’t really have favorite TH-camrs other than Dashiegames. You are by far the best most recent TH-camr that’s genuinely amusing. It’s wholesome and hopefully I run into a match of battlefield with you
Such an awesome behind the scenes view here. Gaming can do a lot of good things for people and I'm glad you found passion in gaming. We hope to watch you continue playing and growing the platform. Here's to many many more years of Grandpa Gaming!
Caught a GG short on TH-cam of BF2042 Sniping and bought the game the same day. And started following the channel, keep it up grandpa! You’re killing it!
i admire you a lot
I have showed you to all my friend here in Brazil.
We love your streams, keep pushing forward
Grandpa, from one squid to another; thank you. You got me back to BF. Haven't played since the height of BF1. You and another guy were gaming and both of you were talking about how BF 2042 got a lot better and I checked it out. Glad I did.
I just lost my grandpa 8 months ago and when I found this guy he’s got the same laugh as my gramps and hooked me with his crazy snipes and the enjoyment I see you get from this game is so cool man. Keep on killing it Gpa you bring a smile to my face every single day. Stay safe 🙏
56 year old gamer and US Navy AE. Loved Privateer and played it on my first PC I built. Do what you love and enjoy life. The misses and I enjoy watching you have fun.
I could honestly see video games as a great way for older folks to socialize (especially if they aren't very mobile) and help keep their mind sharp.
Hey grandpa just wanted to check in on your legendary behind and wanted to say your a absolute legend as if I have to remind you that but I also wanted to say that I deeply appreciate and love you for serving our beloved nation and give you my sincere gratitude and respect for you as a diver I know it was hard back then but you got not only me and your brothers and sisters at arms but also our lord and savior Jesus Christ 💪🏼WE LOVE YOU HE LOVES YOU STAY SKETCHY SIMPER-FI FROM THE MARINE CORPS
Hi Gramps, I'm one of your newest subscribers and I'm really enjoying your streams, your shorts especially.
Your sniping is wow, just, wow. It's not like those mainstream quick-scope-and-pop like other streamers, jumping and sliding around. Kinda takes it to a whole new level realistically - which is how it should be done actually IMO.
More health to you sir! Keep shooting, keep inspiring.
Love it! Subscribed. I'm 47 myself and my oldest just had her 2nd child. I also game... probably too much. That all makes me a Gaming Grandpa too.
Love watching your streams and your reactions to your own shots gets me rolling its just really wholesome seeing you enjoy it
As an Air Force vet the chair malfunction is terrifying...
But seriously, love seeing other vets find their outlets and thriving.
Greetings from germany and thank you for your Service and awesome content! 🎉
I was a fan from the first time I saw one of your Video's.
After watching this,I'm with you until you decide it's over.
Stay Blessed ❤
You rock my brother.
Thankyou for your service! I lost my way not to long ago watching your streams and clips make my day and hearing your stories.. also got me back into battlefield and maybe back to streaming thankyou🙌🏽💙
i just want to tell you how much i admire your passion, your skill, and your ability to remain so positive. i'm glad i found my way to this channel. I live in Oklahoma city. Keep on keeping on.
Grateful for your service. As a Marine vet, I fully relate to your chronic pain, from my neck down, to all extremities, numbness, and pain that never fully turns off. Thank you for the content, really the inspiration to unapologetically to do the things that brings me joy, but I pray your health is well and big dubs on the field
I CANNOT believe that all these years on TH-cam and I've never come across the channel before. Thank you for your service! I look forward to watching your content!
You are an inspiration gramps! Hope to see you blasting brains in the next 20 years!

Ty for sharing Grandpa. I'm a US Army veteran and got into gaming to distract myself from pain as well. So glad you're enjoying it. My best to you and your family. Ty for your service.
I just found your channel and subscribed! I am a 49 yr old female and Gamer. I find gaming relaxes me and takes my mind not just off of my physical pain but also emotional pain. It is a great escape that I enjoy for sure. Game on! 💖 God bless from Texas💖
Forget all the cool streaming stuff. Thats a blast, live seeing video clips.
But most importantly thank you so very much for your service. Absolutely nothing but respect.
You’re amazing grandpa, you got me back into battlefield and I’ve been having a blast. Keep doing what makes you happy!!

Found you recently on YT and the moment I saw that you’re an retired veteran at it, I knew I had to be here for the support. Going well sir! All respect for ya
I suffer from chonic pain and just like you, getting into a game and just shutting the world out is sometimes the only thing that helps. I'm so glad I stumbled across you today.
50 year old Navy vet here that plays CoD. I just got the last of the gear I needed to start streaming on Twitch when Grandpa graced my screen. I'm more determined than ever to get going now!
I had read your description you posted in TH-cam. Sir, you’re a legend and you deserve all good things in life.
Thankyou sir for your service! And thankyou once more for never failing to put a smile on my face, seeing you kick ass on games is phenominal. Showing the youngsters how its done.
Thank you for your service sir. Bless your soul.
I first saw his videos on TikTok and I'm so glad I did, his laugh is contagious! You keep on runnin and gunnin Grandpa!
Grandpa you're awesome man, bringing a smile to my face every time, thankyou for your service!
Thank you for sharing with us. I love watching your streams and it’s always inspiring to see people just doing what makes them happy. ❤
From one veteran gamer, to another, keep doing what you love GrndpaGaming! I am absolutely amazed at what you have accomplished and wish you continued success. If your going to game as much as you do, make PT mandatory! At least set a schedule for it. Need you healthy so you can become the next Dr Disrespect!
Love your content grandpa. Keep doing you we are all here cheering for you. We all appreciate your service.
It is a pleasure to see your stream pop up, the greatest feeling ever, good luck on your journey king, all the love in the world!
I love your videos. Thank you for sharing your videos and your sense of humor. I saw the video for Privateer and realized i knew that game. That is a awesome game! Keep having fun!
Hey granpagaming, I’m sorry tk hear about your heart attacks I just lost my grandfather ti heart disease in December 2023. To see you do what you love reminds me of him and his passion for taking care of me and my brothers and his pets. Keep fighting the good fight, they don’t make em like y’all anymore
You're amazing keep doing what you're doing and you're story is inspiring don't be scared of death live life to the full
Man this brings me so much JOY! I'm only 30 and the passion you have showed us all is so inspiring. I found you through TikTok and my you made me curious and after watching this video here really just pushed me on another level. Thank you good sir and keep up the great work and i just simply LOVE how much this inspired me and I'm sure so many others. Thank you good sir. Hopefully you're day is outstanding & we will see you in the next stream!
Just came across a video of yours sniping on battlefield. It was amazing! I subscribed and watched a few of your videos already. Keep up the great content!
you are an absolute badass! All the best, thanks for doing what you do, it warms my heart when you pop up in my feed
❤ at only 39 I feel like the old man in the squad 90% of the time. This guy is an inspiration. Love it love it.
Haaaa I’m 45 with scuff controller flying and frying all over mw3 sweats lol 😂 been gaming most of my life on counsel but my 15 year old pc aristocrat son is convincing me to make the switch to pc.
God Bless you sir! Thank you for your service and become an inspiring figure for us young people. I wish you the best of health and joyful time playing the games you love!
Ver al abuelo jugar apex legends me volvio loco! Mi juego favorito. Es increible ver a alguien con esa edad tener tal habilidad para jugar, sos increible abuelo gamer, sigue disfrutando de los juegos❤
OMG how good you are! And your joy makes me smile ^^
I truly respect you sir! Thank you for your sevice and your continued service to a dark world you bring alot of us joy and hope!
I'd seen the super impressive sniper clips, but knowing that he's working with numbness in his hands and seeing him take out a whole squad in Apex at close range with a triple take and no scope cemented it for me. You are truly an inspiration to disabled gamers everywhere. I'm glad that you enjoy it and it helps with the pain. I'm a new subscriber, definitely looking forward to watching more of your videos!
I just met this channel but I will subscribe because this guy is a awesome, badass, wholesome and wise. Keep playing Grandpa!
Grandpa!! its great to see your setup and hear your story. I messed my back up like 6 years ago and fought with bulging disks for years, then found this one chair on amazon. Its like a mesh desk chair for like 250$ and half an hour in it every day and literally no pain anymore. it helped so much. IDK if that helps anyone out there, but my physio guy said sometimes its just the chair you sit in. Thank you for everything you do and keep on keepin on
Early legend being born now, and THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE 🇺🇸, hard working men like yourself deserve it all
I am 60... I do have a clip about "Why do I stream everyday?" with similar reason with my mental issue not physical pains... yet!
God bless, and keep up the good work, boss :)
This made me smile so much. Blessings Grandpa from the U.K. I will definitely be subscribing to your twitch. I wish you nothing but good health and happiness
Glad I found you, I have seen a lot of clips on the internet of you. My uncle was in the navy during that time as well.
I just found you online and love the content, nothing like that laugh after you score those long distance kills. Have all the fun you can and enjoy all the time you have!
Hi grndpagaming Love your streams I'm 51 from the UK. Never stop gaming.
So awesome!! I'm a 55 year old grandma gamer myself. GTA online and Fortnite mostly. PS5
You're inspiring grampa 💪 Keep it up!! ✌️💜
Keep going grandpa!!!...Love your humor.
I am your fan club in Thailand. a small country located in southeast Asia. I really like your tuning with the modern world. ❤
Thank you for your service. You are so cool. I've lost my grandpa, but it would have been so fun to hang out and share something like this with him.
