- Count in Dutch - learn Dutch plural nouns and numbers:
www.learndutch....
In this you learn how to count in Dutch from zero till one million. The lesson deals with the numerals. But you learn more than just the numbers in Dutch - the lesson also deals with the Dutch plural nouns.
In the lesson Dutch tutor Bart de Pau explains that there are 3 main endings in the Dutch language. As an example the vocabulary of the previous lesson is combined with the numbers, to show the Dutch plural form of nouns.
Dutch course:
This is lesseon 7 in a series of 40 videos of 25 Dutch words, a course with the goal to speak Dutch, developed by Bart de Pau "1000 most common words in Dutch".
The course is aimed at beginners, who want to learn Dutch fast. Of each word, you see the dutch word and the english translation, and a picture. For learning Dutch pronunciation, each word is repeated twice.
Best way to study the Dutch language lessson about traffic and buildings is:
watch the video 1 or 2 times
study the word list (see link above)
do the test; repeat it if you made mistakes
no mistakes in the test - then go to the next lesson
This is a free course.

Hallo, Dankuwel Bart
Hoi Bart, de derde test voor deze is hard. I'm terrible with numbers in English! I did manage it second time round though. Anyway -Dankjewel!
Bedankt!
Hello, It is interesting to know that reading Dutch numbers is like reading numbers in Arabic
That`s cool, thank you for the video! But there are no examples, how to say complicated numerals such as 66.578.148 for example, or 19.568. We just need to add "en" and make a direct order of thousands, hundreds etc..?
66.578.148 is in Dutch: zesenzestigmiljoen vijfhonderdachtenzeventigduizend honderdachtenveertig
19.568 is in Dutch: negentienduizend vijfhonderdachtenzestig
Go on like this✋❤️
Dankjewelllllll
Dank u
厉害!
Maybe I misheard things but it seems like the pronunciation of “w” goes between a “v” sound and a “w” sound. So, 2 sounds like both “tvay” and “tway”.
Hi! I am wondering, why when I am finished study lesson 6, I cant access for the exercise? It said I am must sign in again. But I already did that. So, what's happening?
Tq
so if one dutch proposes to another, he asks her if she will be his 5?

Lol

Hoe veel kost is studeert daar in Drente? En wanneer is ?
👏.👏.👏.👏.👏
"One-and-twenty" is archaic in English, but (as a native English-speaker) it is still perfectly comprehensible when I hear it.
Why is it "tachtig" and not "achtig?
+Chris Goddard In old Dutch they also used to say ' tsestig, tseventig, tnegentig'. The 't' stood for a word which meant something like 'ten' so tachtig = ten times eight
***** Thank you! So the "t" remained because it was followed by a vowel, but it didn't in any of the other numbers.
We have something similar in English where the initial consonant has gone. "Nuncle" has become "uncle", for example.
Glad I could help :) I didn't know that about uncle, interesting.
Apparently it's called metanalysis or rebracketing.
