    1. Thank you for the vlog; Coach Rhulani did well, and he took us to the next level. I did not mind him staying another season.
    2. Yes I am disappointed that we did not win the CL, I don’t think that many other sundowns fans have an obsession as you mentioned it.
    3. I think he did not fight enough to stay at Sundowns , if now he wants to go coach in North Africa he will need a more thick skin as there will be far worse things than he faced with us
    4. Where you guys happy with his playing style, I personally feel that our playing style has deteriorated under his watch, and we play boring football; playing not to lose. I feel that in this vlog you have not addressed, as this could have contributed to him leaving.
    5. The bar was high when Pitso left, I believe the next coach will take us higher, perhaps win the CL, perhaps bring a different style of play that is exciting yet dominant. We have a template of winning the league and I am not worried about and I recommend we move forward and support the club in decision that they have made

I honestly believe our coach reached his limit last session, He did not win a single game of consequence ( 0 win in CAF knock out stage, lost both finals, lost the last game of the league to becoming invisible)
We can't celebrate winning games without winning trophies. History only remembers the trophy winner, not the style or the number of games won.
Only trophies make you a big team. 12 years later, we are still behind kaizer Chief.
Winning trophies is the bottom line. Doing it in style is an added benefit

Sundowns wants to win the Champions league and do well in the CWC in the new season. Coach Rulani lost most of important games and won the league and AFL was not good enough for big investments by the club. Good is not good enough for Mamelodi Sundowns. The disagreements between coach rulani and Fleming Berg on the transfers was the ceiling point and motivated the separation. We need to support the new coach just like we did with Rulani and hope for great things for the new season.

I think we have fallen to the opposition's mind games.
They are trying to put us under pressure by under playing the achievements we are having while they, themselves are far away from reaching the level we are in now.
I haven't heard a convincing explanation that is worth demolishing the success that we have built so had over years .
This is the worst ever mistake that sundowns has ever committed.
Our fans mustn't be carried away and think that losing a football match is a sin, or winning titles is a God given Right, no.
What if the next coach will need a season or two to get the ball rolling?
Are we prepared to go a season without a trophy while the coach is still adjusting ?
Have we forgotten where we are coming from, changing all the best European coaches without success?
I think as the supporters of this club, we need to understand the thinking behind this move from whoever came with it and how is it gonna benefit the club going forward.

In all honesty guys you are being emotional about this thing.
The worst thing is that you are also planting seeds to the fans to be somehow towards the management of the team instead of supporting the team.
Give the team the benefit of the doubt and try to investigate what might be going on.
A good example is when it comes to the targets. You are saying the coach comes and losses 2 games beginning of the season that's a failer even though the he might go on to win the league.
He might win the league and add cups.
You are calling the SD a cancer because you don't like his decisions even though the club is with him.
You love and support European clubs but you know very well their role and responsibilities in those clubs.
The club is trying to do something but these type of sentiments don't really help because you are a platform with a voice that can encourage discernt when its not even necessary.
We can try and wait to see what the SD is trying to do. Even if you know Sundowns ground/core fans as you say, the club has the final say.
This guy is here to also elevate the team.
There's this other podcast i was watching that was talking about some of the reasons the SD and coach Rulani didn't get along. Some of these things include what the team can be doing to reach greater heights that we were not reaching.
Can we please be supporters of the club, not people working for the club.
Sundowns wants to have more than 1 CCL and complete with the African joints with trophies won. We can't be saying the club can't want that because we have 1 title.

We are going to pay school fees for this decision but I don't think we can fail to win PSL this coming season. The records set by Rulani will not be broken anytime soon because the competition is going to be tough this coming season. I would like Mamelodi Sundowns to keep Coach Manqoba even if they decide to hire a new Head Coach. Mamelodi Sundowns Supporters must also try to improve attendance because I feel we do not impose intimidation in our opponents in League or CCL home games. This is how the North African giants dominate CAF tournaments.

Thank you Masadawana fan block. I was worried why you were not responding to the current affairs. Let me take this opportunity to thank our former coach for what he has done. Unfortunately he did not meet the major target for the team. I am one of those people who believe that coach Rulani was not going to win us the second star. Becuase of how we lost the current CAF championship compared to 2022/23. There was too much hope when we lost to Waydad that we are going to win the 2023/24. However we struggled to qualify for semi final and we could not even score in the semifinal. Added to the CAF failure was losing two finals to Orlando Pirates with the same coach is not palatable to me. We need the second star and we need a coach who will ensure we win the CAF championship league and compete at FIFA World Cup. We are now in the league with Al Ahly and we cannot give coaches 4 or 8 years without CAF stars.

Right now we all emotional because we love coach Rhulani but I think You guys are missing the point. Coach Rhulanis target for 2024 were based on his achievements for 2023. Based on that there were no improvements in 2024. We can complain all we want but Coach Rhulani had targets and he didn't meet them. The targets for the upcoming coach might not necessarily be same as those for Rhulani. What I think we should be asking ourselves is what did the management do to support the Coach. Talking about records that did nt produce trophies is like a government official who praise his clean audit that did nothing to improve people's lives.

Neo, my take is that we shouldn't be obsessed with breaking records. I don't believe that the season objectives include winning the league undefeated or achieving 100 points. The main goal should be to win the league and secure some domestic 'trophies, with at least reaching the CAF final, or winning two domestic trophies along with the CAF Champions League. Additionally, this should be achieved while the new coach maintains the Mamelodi Sundowns' possession-based style of play. Meeting these objectives will ensure job security

Guys, Guys, Guys......,stop being emotional about coach Rhulani 's departure. He failed period. He even said it himself in the press conference that the "investment doesn't equate the outcomes." So, he knew and acknowledged that he failed to reach his targets. Furthermore, he was becoming more arrogant, complacent and unprofessional. Being in the news for all the wrong reasons, fighting other coaches, tarnishing the image of the club. He was not only a "leader" but also the "face " of the club, therefore we expected him to always be beyond reproach verbally and behaviorally on the field. So, hands off SD...,he is doing his job. And again...,we should keep the coach because they can deliver the desired results not because they are young and naive. Sundowns is an ambitious club with huge ambitions We strive for excellence .

So, you guys are saying Sundowns shouldn't judge a coach by Champions League, but we say we are competing with Al Ahly who judge their coaches by Champions League.
Coach Rhulani failed to reach the finals of Champions League, and the other games in PSL do not matter even if we lose 8 games in the league, whether we won the league by less than 65 points does not matter, we want Champions League.
Pep how many times did he reach the finals? Neo I think you are being emotionally about the whole thing.
League can be won by Chiefs or Pirates it's ok, we want to win Champions League, a 2nd star is what we want not record points or 10 games unbeaten no, Champions League.

As much as it hurts bottomline was there was a contract and what was agreed on was not met.

That's why Pitso wanted full control to avoid these situations.

I am really disappointed. How could they let such a talented coach go . They should have done everything possible to retain Rhulani . He is undoubtedly the best coach we have ever had . Sundowns should not compromise their style of play , which has been successful. The team was closed to achieving an invincible status , winning the league seven times in a row and performing well in the African Football League. This decision seems very poorly thought out . I do not know all the reasons behind it , but I am skeptical that the team will continue to dominate the league next season . We will have to wait and see.
