Kevin is not a good coach, period. We are the most undisciplined team in the league. He’s had his chances and he’s driven this organization into another black hole. Good coordinator, but a terrible coach and leader.
My biggest takeaway from it was the organization needs to decide what sort of offense they want to run, add a vet that fits that system, draft a qb for that system, and move forward. No other position matters when you have historically bad offense and youre trying to run something that you dont have the personnel for. Winston is not an RPO creating qb, DTR isnt even a qb, and also more suited for KS scheme with timing and rhythm. If theyre waiting for the 2026 draft class youre looking at Allar and Nuss. Not exactly "generational" like everyone wants. Mid rounders never work out, there are 2 in the past 8 years, and 1 is Purdy who ppl are questioning right now. Tear it down the dumbest comment ever. That is a 5 year rebuild. We need a left tackle, maybe a guard, decent qb, another stud LB, RB. The RB and LB can be found in later rounds.
This is simple. Anyone all in on the DW move, whomever recommended it, pushed it outside the owner, has to be let go. How do you have a disastrous move that effects a franchise like this and people keep jobs? Its nuts from a business perspective. Doesn't mean KS isn't a good coach, its simple responsibility for a move that hurt the business. If he wasn't pushing it behind closed doors, sure keep him. Anyone responsible for the business decision should go. The owner didn't watch tape and come to the conclusion he wanted DW. Others were involved.
@@mijwil find another scapegoat. Watson didn't play in the last 11 games, 2 other QBs did. The team is 2-8 , soon to be 2-9 without him. The arguement was Watson couldn't score more than 1 td or 200 yards or over 20. Well Jaimis got you that, and only won 2 games. He had Njoku and Chubb, and the Oline, Watson did not. Watson wasn't the problem. I'm praying he gets tf out of Cleveland so he can get back to being great. That place is a swamp.
@@ambersstone Hey whatever floats your boat.... Take a look at any player that has sat out for a year and hasn't played. Not someone rehabbing and working at it. History is against them. Remember how great Le'Veon Bell was for the Steelers? How did that sit out work? I look at this strictly from a business perspective. If a person made a decision that costs the company the way this decision did, just about anyone, would be unemployed. Unless you manage a hedge fund. I look at the business side. On the performance, on his best days, its not the results matching the contract.
@@ambersstone also, with him the record is 9-10. Simply bad business. I like comeback stories. I don't root against him. I just think this was bad business and the #1 reason before you consider anything else is because he sat out a year and hadn't hadn't played when they made this decision. I can't think of one person sitting out a season and coming back better. The injuries he had after are just a part of football, certainly not his fault, but it adds to an already bad formula for success.
@ I guess that’s inside info… I wouldn’t know. I assume outside of Jerry Jones, owners get recommendations from their top people. The Haslams don’t strike me as that strategic. Someone sold them on the idea IMO. Because that’s how business works… but who knows. Maybe you’re right. That’s why I prefaced everything with, outside of the owner, any others responsible should go. If they weren’t responsible, it’s not in them. But I HIGHLY doubt they came up with this on their own.
Watson is trash! He is a terrible qb and a terrible leader. This team needs a leader. Winston may not have have put up crazy awesome numbers but he’s a leader. Myles Garrett! He’s a leader. I don’t think the team respects Watson or Stefanski anymore. Get rid of Watson and Stefanski
Since Bull is talking about "professionalism", I'm going to bring up Mayfield for a specific reason... and it's NOT to troll. As a point of comparison, I've watched every Buccaneers game he's played in, and I cannot believe the difference (his performance aside) between the Tampa organization and the Browns. It's unbelievable! I'm really talking about the demeanor of the coaches, the players, even the media. For example, it would be unthinkable for Baker to say "I'm not interested in running" the way Deshaun did. He'd do anything to win and they expect to win as a team. I think it comes down to a mismatch between what the front office wants, and how Stefanski coaches. One thing that Baker jokes about in pressers is needing to have a "thick skin" in the building, because I think every day is a humbling reminder that there's always a need to grow, and I don't see that in the Browns.
What this should prove is Stafanski was a Great Offensive Coord for this team and Bill Callahan is Great. Dorsey and the Oline Coach need fired 1 hour after the game
Baker beats Pittsburgh 2 weeks in a row and he was running out of town...this is when the team tanked... who else ever beat Ben Roethlisberger 2weeks in a row and make the playoffs
I agree with Tyvus and Bull that this organization is less than professional. Unfortunately, this is the new corporate culture where they expect their employees to be invested, but yet will not include them in any of the decisions that are made and expect them to fall in line without knowing or feeling part of the plan. Management always thinks like they're the smartest people in the room and the employees will only screw things up if they involve them.

When half of your games are against literally nobody, your stats will look legendary. 2023 Browns were last place in red zone defense. 75% TD rate? Absolutely pathetic. Stats is stats. Blame the guy who invented numbers.
The disappointment is understandable, but show in and show out these guys never really give informative news. It's all negative takes and presumptuous guessing. I've heard more so called " I heard from a guy close to the organization " on this show than any other stream on any other team. I'm starting to think the content is made up from other uninformed sports outlets. Also, Bull is a murder hornet in the Browns hive. He never passes up an opportunity to trash the team, players, organization etc...and no I'm not just talking this season. Last season he was just as insufferable.
My takeaway on the Van Pelt, Dorsey surprise announcements is that they weren't Kevin's choices, but were forced on him. Therefore, he wanted the "deciders" to announce. It was apparent he was not at all happy with the Van Pelt decision and I've never believed he wanted to give up play calling.
Trade for Malik Willis and draft a QB Malik is a big strong mobile QB with a cannon arm. Now has experience with good coaching in Green Bay. No to Kirk cousins. You got rid of Baker why bring in an older weaker arm version?
Deshawn was 5 and 1 last yr . And 3 and 3 the yr before when Coop was wanting a contract extension and you had better oline player. Coop was catching the ball.
As long as Truck Stop Jimmy owns the team I have a better chance of seeing the Browns on a Florida golf course every January than I do on a football field.
The Browns should sign Deshaun Watson to extension and keep him winning super bowls year after year not only football but baseball and basketball and hockey in Copenhagen club in Denmark 🇩🇰 all without playing any games
Your playaction was not working this yr because you had no running game. Dont blame Deshawn he can play both styles. Your oline especially left tackle and right tackle was horrible while Deshawn was in there. Plus the number one reciver in Cooper was leading the league in drops . And the rest of your recivers were not getting open . Plus you was always in 3rd and long because of penalties
I mean no disrespect but I would love to watch this show but I can only watch the clips because I just can’t stand BULL never shutting up so others can talk! SMH
Seems pretty obvious haslam and depodesta forced dorsey on stefanski. They pushed for the terrible Watson deal and had to find a way to make everything about watson in the hopes of making the trade work
I started to watch you Nettwerk back in 1981 and I’ve watched it for many years friends and family but now that the boggle with the Notre Dame Georgia game myself and friends will be tuning out what happened to you guys
40-44 1-2 playoffs. Top 10 in turnovers all 5 seasons. 1st in penalties this year and dead last in TO differential. 2nd in penalties last year and 37 turnovers
The person or people who walked into Haslam’s office with the DW deal and said, “Jimmy, we need to get this guy, sign this contract” is still working in the organization and that’s a problem. Show me an underperforming team and I’ll show you bad management. In this case, it may be ownership, it may be coaching (not there on KS yet), but it’s definitely in mahogany row.
I agree, you either have to adjust the personnel to the system or adjust the system to the personnel. Too many times now we have dudes out there looking like uncomfortable and like they dont know what they are doing. Kevin cant seem to grasp a good relationship with any QB. Something has to change and this team not being on the same page with information and changes doesnt look good either. Clean it up behind the scenes and on the field usually follows
The biggest problem is relying on a baseball analytics guy….if you really understand statistics you realize baseball lends itself to statistical analysis but football does not.
There it is. The standard coughing on mic for the first half of the show. Why does nobody catch this?? EVERY EPISODE HAS SOMEONE COUGHING ON MIC! They can mute the mic. Why don’t they??
I don't know. I do think that is a non Kevin stefanski type of move but is there a possibility that behind the scenes Jimmy Haslam took those play calling duties away?
Cousins can’t move! Did you see his last 8 games in Atlanta he popped his Achilles so did Watson. We are cooked at QB and HC 40-44 1-2 playoffs Stefanski 5 years
AVP never called plays it was always Kevin . The only time AVP called plays is 2020 season wild card game against Pittsburgh when Kevin was out with Covid. And Kevin was calling all the plays this year while Deshawn was in there. And Dorsey was calling them while Winston was in there. Obvious deffrent route concepts. The last couple weeks looked like a little of Kevin's and Dorseys mixed. Don't blame Jimmy. It was no better Bull when Lerner Jr was the owner.
It typically doesn't take anywhere near 18 months for a player to come back from an Achilles tear. They might not be at full 100% when they come back but they typically cime back much sooner. Aaron Rodgers came back in less than a year. Kirk Cousins came back in less than 10 months. Cousins didn't tear his Achilles until week 8 in 2023 and still started 2024 on time. Now the results haven't been great for either QB but they both came back in less than a year. Not 18 months.
Jimmy probably had a big say in the offense, and in effect the mismatch of system/talent and dysfunction. For the most part the Browns have been a disaster under him for more than a decade.
??? 🤔 "An offensive coordinator said that DeShaun Watson can still win the quarterback competition in a few days." 🤔 ??? What is that about? I definitely didn't get the part about "in a couple of days." The Offensive Coordinator who said that, is not with the Browns, so what he says doesn't matter, it doesn't mean anything.
Maybe Stefanski learned that he will no longer be calling plays at the last minute by the front office or owner. t may not have been Stefanski's choice.
Why Bull did they change the offense staff after the playoff game last season. Look that that horrible offensive show in that playoff game Kevin included . He was calling the plays in that playoff game. And guess what Deshawn Watson didnt play in that game.
If I was jamis I wouldn't even wanna stay ... Kevin if he don't change let's just all as fans and fans in division make changes these guys deserve more the game u guys beat ravens and us (steelers) the talent is there Judy showed he is and can be great reciever

Kevin S couldn't handle a Super Bowl bound Team. A Browns Fan Since 1967.
He’s a 2x COY though
Once again. The fish rots from the head. The Browns have an off the field management problem. What has been the common denominator all these years....
Fire Ivy League 3
Tear it down the dumbest comment ever. That is a 5 year rebuild. We need a left tackle, maybe a guard, decent qb, another stud LB, RB. The RB and LB can be found in later rounds.
Your delusional! We are so far away from adding a few pieces and bring back in Super Bowl talk
Kevin and good play calling should never be in a sentence. Never.
Dude its the owner and owner ALONE who wanted him. End of story dude.
Hopefully an adult will get in the room soon.
Winston's only problem is picks
@ right and he knows that. He needs to learn when and when not to throw the ball
@@isaacyoung8849He'll never learn. He's been in the league 10 fucking years. Get that through your head
Just another confirmation that Stefanski does not belong in the position he's in. Dude's gotta go
But he’s 2x COY and best coach since Schottenheiner
@GRASSNBASS please be sarcasm
What this should prove is Stafanski was a Great Offensive Coord for this team and Bill Callahan is Great. Dorsey and the Oline Coach need fired 1 hour after the game
Throw AB Kevin in
"What a mess."
Yep, it sure is. It will continue to be for at least the next 10-12 years.
Low key you could argue that Stefanski's first year can be attributed mostly to Kitchens. Under Kitchens OBJ AND Landry had 1000 yard seasons.
How is Kevin’s playoff record 1-2? The one win he was in his basement with Covid. His playoff record is 0-2.
He’s 40-44 and petty af
Baker beats Pittsburgh 2 weeks in a row and he was running out of town...this is when the team tanked... who else ever beat Ben Roethlisberger 2weeks in a row and make the playoffs
I agree with Tyvus and Bull that this organization is less than professional. Unfortunately, this is the new corporate culture where they expect their employees to be invested, but yet will not include them in any of the decisions that are made and expect them to fall in line without knowing or feeling part of the plan. Management always thinks like they're the smartest people in the room and the employees will only screw things up if they involve them.
This was my preseason assessment:
Elite Browns defense?
QBs who struggled against the 2023 Browns defense: one legged Burrow, Pickett, Tannehill, Pickett, Fields, Cardinals Backup, Texans Backup, Jets Backup
QBs who did good (24+ points) against the 2023 Browns defense: Minshew, Geno Smith, Lamar, Lamar, Russ, Stafford, Injured Trevor Lawrence
Purdy missed a walk off field goal on the road: not good, not embarrassing. Defense sat out week 18.
All the QBs who struggled against the Browns are backups or don't have a job this year. When half of your games are against literally nobody, your stats will look legendary.
2023 Browns were last place in red zone defense. 75% TD rate? Absolutely pathetic. Stats is stats. Blame the guy who invented numbers.
Historically there has been only one proven way to “fix” The Browns. Relocate and change the name.
I fn wish they would then i could quit wasting my sundays watching a shit show
The disappointment is understandable, but show in and show out these guys never really give informative news.
I’ve been saying it for years Kevin seems petty and is an EGO maniac
My takeaway on the Van Pelt, Dorsey surprise announcements is that they weren't Kevin's choices, but were forced on him. Therefore, he wanted the "deciders" to announce. It was apparent he was not at all happy with the Van Pelt decision and I've never believed he wanted to give up play calling.
😂 🤦🏾♂️ How do you know?
@@ikidd06 go back and watch his press conferences after Van Pelt was let go.
These guys are pretty much assuming almost everything.
Please fire Bull he always been negative to our Team period
Let him stick with baseball
Trade for Malik Willis and draft a QB
Malik is a big strong mobile QB with a cannon arm. Now has experience with good coaching in Green Bay. No to Kirk cousins. You got rid of Baker why bring in an older weaker arm version?
This right here!!
Malik Willis might b the only qb in the nfl worse then DTR. My lord u know nothing about football
Kurtis Rourke
We are just going to have to wait to see what they are going to do about the QB situation.
Everyone blamed Watson but nothing ever changed. In fact I think everything got worse.
Bro whomever was chugging a beverage at the 7:50 to 8 min mark.... mute your mic 😂
Deshawn was 5 and 1 last yr . And 3 and 3 the yr before when Coop was wanting a contract extension and you had better oline player. Coop was catching the ball.
the sad thing is that DW4 is our best quarterback and he absolutely sucks!!!!
He only Sucks because of the staff sucks.
In 25 years what has firing the head coach gotten the browns? Whatever the problem is it’s deeper than the head coach.
I’ve been saying for years that Kevin is a decent coach but he seems extremely petty. He does a lot of things out of spite it would seem.
Hed lose to make a point
Like start a qb with a major shoulder injury
As long as Truck Stop Jimmy owns the team I have a better chance of seeing the Browns on a Florida golf course every January than I do on a football field.
Who fired all the assistant coaches? Or whose idea was it?
Not Kevin’s lol
@@GRASSNBASS i know lol. was it AB, paul, because it ain’t haslem.
@@sextonhardcastle1940 I was joking! It was most likely Kevin’s idea bc they gave him power to bring in the offensive staff he desired
The Browns should sign Deshaun Watson to extension and keep him winning super bowls year after year not only football but baseball and basketball and hockey in Copenhagen club in Denmark 🇩🇰 all without playing any games
Bull broke everyone with Dickerson
Your playaction was not working this yr because you had no running game. Dont blame Deshawn he can play both styles. Your oline especially left tackle and right tackle was horrible while Deshawn was in there. Plus the number one reciver in Cooper was leading the league in drops . And the rest of your recivers were not getting open . Plus you was always in 3rd and long because of penalties
I mean no disrespect but I would love to watch this show but I can only watch the clips because I just can’t stand BULL never shutting up so others can talk! SMH
Why in the hell would anyone ever want to be a fan of the Cleveland browns the team that came back after 99 anyhow
Seems pretty obvious haslam and depodesta forced dorsey on stefanski. They pushed for the terrible Watson deal and had to find a way to make everything about watson in the hopes of making the trade work
Fire everybody now why wait
I started to watch you Nettwerk back in 1981 and I’ve watched it for many years friends and family but now that the boggle with the Notre Dame Georgia game myself and friends will be tuning out what happened to you guys
If Watson is in, I'm out. That mistake should be on a Personal Services contract and as far away from this team as possible.
Bye
As a Baker Mayfield fan, Im here for every bit of this! 😂
Miss my guy baker he should still be a brown
It’s SOOOOO satisfying.
@@Jaxondad831 Thanks to Kevin
@@christopherwaits7852 you can thank Kevin for throwing Baker under the bus
KS is not a Superbowl Winning Coach!!! PERIOD!!
Fire Ivy League 3!
I love the BROWNS but they been a joke 😂😂😂😂 They suppose to get better not worse 🤨😭😭😭😭
My Browns left a long time ago. And never came back. Looks like they never will either.
There it is. The standard coughing on mic for the first half of the show. Why does nobody catch this?? EVERY EPISODE HAS SOMEONE COUGHING ON MIC! They can mute the mic. Why don’t they??
Yes, FIRE them Both!!!!!!
Awesome show 👍
I don't know. I do think that is a non Kevin stefanski type of move but is there a possibility that behind the scenes Jimmy Haslam took those play calling duties away?
Fire Dorsey. Keep Stefanski. Get Cousins. Draft the best player available.
4-13
Why does Earl's mic always sound muffled compared to everyone else?
It typically doesn't take anywhere near 18 months for a player to come back from an Achilles tear. They might not be at full 100% when they come back but they typically cime back much sooner. Aaron Rodgers came back in less than a year. Kirk Cousins came back in less than 10 months. Cousins didn't tear his Achilles until week 8 in 2023 and still started 2024 on time. Now the results haven't been great for either QB but they both came back in less than a year. Not 18 months.
Man, Bull, it is only January 2nd and I think you already have secured the quote of the Year!!!! 😅😅
Jimmy probably had a big say in the offense, and in effect the mismatch of system/talent and dysfunction. For the most part the Browns have been a disaster under him for more than a decade.
Vou guys in meetings no, you guys know anything, no just shooting the breeze and the bull is bull, in BS.
Why the hell would I wanna hear somebody swallowing water
He was obviously being forced to run this offense, why else would the Browns have let go of his entire offensive staff from last season, except him?
0 leadership on this team
Makes no sense why Stefanski is all giddy when Watson makes any play on the field but despises any other quarterbacks
This is nothing, don't bother listening, just move on. More of the same boring nonsense.
Malik willis sounds like a good option
Why Bull did they change the offense staff after the playoff game last season. Look that that horrible offensive show in that playoff game Kevin included . He was calling the plays in that playoff game. And guess what Deshawn Watson didnt play in that game.
If I was jamis I wouldn't even wanna stay ... Kevin if he don't change let's just all as fans and fans in division make changes these guys deserve more the game u guys beat ravens and us (steelers) the talent is there Judy showed he is and can be great reciever
Watson as our starting QB again??? In what world! 🤣🤣🤣🤣
We should have tried to get Belichick years ago
