The true test will be when you shift it in the water under a load. Shifting it on the trailer means nothing. You also need to do all the fine tuning in gear idling around. Needs to be between 550 to 600rpms.

Does the prop have to be all the way down and water running through to go into gear?
My shift cable stuck ??any ideas what it could be
