I'm late to catch on to this video, but I was SOOOO impressed by the careful detail you put into selecting your color shades that I had to say something. I sincerely hope that the other cosmetologists' words of encouragement led you to continue on to a career in something artistically compatible with your talents. All my best to you!
I am a qualified hairdresser from Australia, and my goodness girl. I know talent when i see it. Good Job. You should be so proud. You have patience of a saint to be able to do all this on your own. Especially your extensions. So happy for you. Looks amazing. Lots of love from Australia.
Girl!! OMG! I would honestly say that YOU HAVE SOME TALENT!!!! You just literally showed that you don't need a Certification to do anything! It depends on the person and how determined they are to do/get something...seriously, I'm in awe!!!! I wish you lived close! These hair salons are getting an easy $1,000+ just to do what you just did!! Omg, impressive!! You're amazing!!!!!!
Good for you being fearless to do this on yourself and record it! Bravo 👏🏻 Some of us can’t afford doing our hair professionally and extensions either one or another 🤷♀️ I’ve been doing my extensions for years! It’s still difficult but we gotta do what we can if our hair is too thin. Confidence girl go for it!
Beautiful work! You're so detail oriented and committed to making the best quality outcome. You should go to cosmetology school and share your talent with others! Great choice in colors and technique for your hair and extensions. The warm and neutral dark blondes and browns are very flattering, make your eyes pop! Also liked how you brought the weft closer to your face on the sides, only an inch and a half or so back. That makes the long hair look even more natural. If hair is shorter and the wefts are sewn in further back it can look a little too "mullet" ish, ha! And then a few tape in extensions are needed on each side to being long hair all the way toward the face. That is my situation because I have shoulder length or shorter hair with longer extensions so I want my wefts sewn in closer to my face like you did with yours. Overall excellent video and closeup, actual time shots!! Thank you 👍
I suggest to choose cheaper one, according to my using experience, the products of Markethairextension are also of high quality and you can use them for many years.
You should do more videos, I love watching them!! I don’t say this to many people but you are so genuine and down to earth and calming and you just seem like such a warm soul :)
Good job! You should probably do this on other people. If you can do it that well on your own head, imagine what you could do on someone else’s. I had mine done by as opposed expert and Q-tips, and she put way too many on my baby hairs in the front and, my hair was already having issues. She knew this and has destroyed it. They slipped even though I was doing everything that you’re supposed to do and it didn’t matter and when you’re paying you know close to $3000 nothing should go wrong.
DuuUde! You did just as good as any of the licensed pro’s I’ve seen do this! Your transformation was incredible 🎉 I’m now super inspired to try more seemingly impossible things- seriously, a determined female can do anything lol I really hope you go to beauty school, I would trust you to do my hair, and I’ve only let 3 people touch my hair my entire life.
Omg it came out so well!! Every time I try to install my own extensions I stop halfway through and ask myself if I really have the willpower to keep going...lol
This is my first comment ever on utube just had to say ive been sitting procrastinating starting my extensions watching video after video and i think you did such a great job .. enough to get my ass motivated.. ill try to remember to share how mine turn out. Thanks for posting!
Just wanted to take a second to say you are gorgeous! I loved your video, I hope someday to get to the point of trying this extension method. Thank you so much for sharing your awesome talents! 💖
Such a great video. You're very talented. I ordered that nylon thread off Amazon but after doing one very messy row found that using the thicker weaving thread I had on hand from Sally's was SO much easier as it didn't tangle as easily. It was a breeze using that thread for me. Less seamless than the nylon (a bit bulky) but good for a beginner!
what kind of thread was exactly? I have some on hand that matches my hair exactly but I'm worried its not strong enough. I believe its upholstery thread lol
I have been wanting to do this and the information is so limited as to HOW...this video will be my saving grace. Great job. They look amazing. And thank you for the video.
I love that your doing this! Lol it’s not rocket science it’s just practice. Just because some people can’t afford to get this done by an overpriced hairdresser dose not mean we don’t deserve to have amazing hair! I paid over $1200 for my thin extensions and have a migraine and see now I should have been told to do the sew in weft! I have thin short hair and paid $275 for a Brazilian blow out I didn’t need. I have already moved up rows for my friend as well as installed new ones. It’s not that hard. Just don’t get the cross hairs trapped (ouch) and get beads with rubber inside so when you clamp them they don’t damage your hair. Bam done. No need for a surgeons license. Lol mine looks amazing now I do it myself.
This came out amazing!! I have been wanting hand tied extensions for forever! They are so expensive though lol so I think I am totally going to try this method! Thank you so much!! You look amazing at the end!!!
This is SO impressive!! I am blown away by your talent, Instructions and overall result. How will you move them up once the hair grows or will you take them out completely and do it again?
Just finished watching. Freaking awesome 👌 and you saved like €2000 ...You go girl...Thank you for doing this!! I am in UK and we don't have habit method here....and I can't fly to USA to train due to covid ( I'm a master hair extensionist and educator trainer ) your colours awesome to. I would employ you today!!! 😘😘😘
Stunning! I am floored, you would make so much money as a stylist, I can't believe you haven't had any training. Just beautiful! Thank you for sharing! I would love to hear how your extensions are holding up and how many reuses you got out of them. Sending hugs ❤️🤗
I've been searching and searching for a video to do step by step been wanting to do myself. Thank you soooooo much dear. Now I'm confident about doing this. 🤗 blessings. 🙏
OrphicQueen of course I really didn’t want to take away from the value of actually going to school and paying lots of money and putting lots of time and effort into learning the skill ! It’s something I actually plan to do in the future myself 🥰
phoenix hayley I think you’re already talented, so I have no doubt that you’ll love it! It’s much easier to do someone else’s hair than your own too! Haha. By the way, I highly recommend going to the best school in your area. There are hidden fees in the smaller schools, so you’ll end up paying the same as the hoity toity schools anyway. 🥰🖤 Much love & best of luck!!
OrphicQueen haha yes as satisfying as it is being able to do my own hair doing other people’s hair is always infinitely easier 🥴 Oo thank you for the tip, I already have one picked out but obviously bc of Corona I have lots of time to look into all of them and decide 😃
i‘m getting extensions soon, so i fell into the extension rabbit hole. First of all you did an amazing job. second i wanted to ask where you got the dress in the end. Its so beautiful 💕
Your so cute and soft spoken, i just bought and put in my own exstentions for the first time ever after a 8" regretted hair cut lol and they turned out perfect! I stumbled across your video and u did great!
Wow! You did a great job. I am surprised at you doing the NBR method of placing the beads. I do sew in beaded wefts, but I just do the 'LA weave' method with no string in between. I have never had a problem with the staying and there is never any damage to my hair. Much easier than doing the string! Good for you though. Also, I have found that the only damage I get from sewing in wefts is from removal. I have figured out after many trials that having a magnified mirror set up really helps to see the thread I am cutting. You should become a hair stylist - you have real talent!
I just have super fine hair and this is how my stylist did it when I got it done professionally and how I’ve seen other stylists do on people with fine hair as well so it was worth the extra time for me 🥰
What magnifying mirror setup have up you found successful? I can't seem to get a setup that works- that's what makes this process take me forever! I can't see 😂😂
@@Camilla_Henry I use one mirror hanging on a door behind me; one in front and then I sometimes even use a magnified mirror that is attached to the wall that I can pull out when I need to see extra close! LOL
