Yes, but it is faster, overall, to get a character to P3 than to get all perks on all characters after you P1 them. The only reason you want to do this is for survivors, if you only intend to play a couple of them. I really recommend getting characters to P3 Level now and them stop investing BP in them, unless you didn't get all general perks. Getting them to P1 just unlock the perks at tier 1 on all characters and you have to unlock Tier 2 and Tier 3 though the bloodweb. Once you have all of them at P3 Level 1, just stock-up on 2 million Bloodpoints in the first month and get both killer and survivor to Iridescent 1. If you play with incentives, you can do that in like 50-100 hours. This gives you 4 million bloodpoints, enough to P3 Level 1 one character, basically guaranteeing that in about 2 months, you have both characters fully leveled up and their perks shared across all characters. If you do this every month for 3 months, the time it takes for a new chapter to roll out, you will have 12 million bloodpoints, which is enough to get all new characters to P3 Level 1. Basically, you are guaranteed to get all the general perks by that point. This means that you will have enough BP at the end of the 3rd month to level up one character from level 1 to P3 Level 1 with all general perks, right after their release.

Nurse is the best killer in the game and she only needs aura reading perks. She is hard to get and requires mostly perks from licensed characters since they have the best aura reading perks. The killer perks I said are more useful on certain killers than on others. For example, Thanatophobia is very good on Plague and Legion, Pop is good on Freddy, Spirit, Nurse etc. Just take your time and don't rush. @@MindbenderTTV thanks for all the tips! I was waiting to hear from you and I hoped you’d see that comment! I will surely check that game. I don’t generally play these kind of games but anything less stressful might be good. I didn’t have good times these last 72hrs .. and since that game is free .. that’s great
Depends on how you like to play. VHS is more of a casual title. I am sorry to hear you had bad experiences in the past 3 days. I hope playing VHS will make you feel better. You may get stomped at first since the playerbase is small and while the MMR system is in place, the players are not spread correctly yet. Plus, beta testers, like me, had their progress reset so they don't have a progression advantage compared to the rest of the players. This means that their mmr is also reset. You will grasp the game quickly. Give it 5-10 hours and you will learn everything. Just treat every match as a lesson. I recommend going for teen first. Key elements that are not told in the tutorial (which will be overhauled): • You can use the in-game voice chat by holding V on your keyboard. • You can ping yourself by pressing C. The ping will be placed at your current location and will contain an icon relevant to whatever you were doing. For example, if you are crafting, the ping will have the icon of the appropriate stigma, along with the progress you have on that action. Same thing for when you are being healed or healing. • You can press Middle Mouse Button to ping a location that you are aiming at. It can be anything. If you press it twice, it will change to a danger icon. Usually good to point out where the monster is. • The monster can hit you while firing a weapon. They are slowed and cannot used abilities, but can duck behind cover or walk up to you and hit you. • If you hear a strange sound (similar to the one you will hear while banished in the tutorial), it means that the monster is about the spawn around you. You will learn everything else from the tutorial and simply by playing. Keep in mind that stealth, strategy and teamwork are greatly valued in VHS. Have fun!
thank you for sharing advice! so should i get both survivors and killers to prestige 3 or one of them? also what’s the music you’re using in the background?
I only got my survivors to Prestige 3, since I don't play that much killer and if I do, I only play Nurse. If you are a killer main, go for killers only and get survivors to p3 after, if you have spare BP. If you play both almost equally, go for both. At the moment, and for the past few months, Dead by Daylight is very boring to me. I stopped playing almost completely and I only boot it up to make a video. I don't feel drawn enough to Dead by Daylight anymore, especially ever since Video Horror Society released 2 weeks ago. I may also switch my channel content to Video Horror Society once I learn the game properly. The song is from Dying Light and it's called "Horizon".
I think it is easier if you reach prestige 1 in a particular character and then move to a second character and you will be able to level up the perks of the first character using the bloodweb of the second character. That's my opinion
It isn't, because you will need to spend more bloodpoints over the course of multiple bloodwebs to create the same effect. What you do is delay the end goal: P3 with all perks. You have to prestige anyway, so what is the point? If you get all characters to P3 Level 1 in order, you will not have any issues with remaining perks. You will have all the perks you can have at that point and all perks that will be unlocked in the future. Other characters will have current and previous unlocked perks at Tier 3.
Thanks. I play on Ultra with Scaling Off and the percentage at 100%. Aside from that, it's just a bit of brightness (like +10). I use DBDIconToolbox to change the way my icons look. It may also be the video resolution and bitrate. They tend to make games cleaner. I record in 4K at 60 fps with a 130,000 kbps bitrate with the same output.
So basically Prestige 1 get all perks on the respected category you’re playing as (survivor) or (killer) but you can upgrade them purple in the blood web? Prestige 2 you get all the perks upgraded to green or if you’re higher prestige etc already without wasting time in the blood web?
Hello! Most likely you unlocked all general perks and his own perks and got them go tier 3. Just keep on leveling him up until P3 Level 1. Do this for each killer individually. Don't level up other characters until you get a character to P3 (don't level up 2 or more killers at once). You will get to a point where new characters will have all teachable perks at tier 3 directly and you would only get their own perks and general perks. At about P1 level 15, you will run out of perks to buy. Just push to P3 Level 1.
Hello! Sorry for the late reply, I have issues with my internet connection. You only get the perks (tier 1) when you prestige him to Prestige 1. Afterwards, the perks you unlocked at Prestige 1 will upgrade in strength (tier 2 and tier 3) at Prestige 2 and Prestige 3. So you only get 3 perks per character that upgrade in strength as you move to the second and third prestige, respectively. I hope this clarifies. For example, at Prestige 1, you got tier 1 of Play With Your Food (and 2 other perks) that increase your movement speed by 3% per stack, up to 3 stacks). At Prestige 2, it got upgraded to tier 2. Now it's stronger. Your movement speed increases by 4% per stack instead of 3%. Finally, at Prestige 3, it got upgraded to tier 3. Now it's even stronger: 5% instead of the previous values (3% and 4%). I don't remember the exact percentage value from the top of my head and I can't check right now. I think it's 3%, 4% and 5% but it might be wrong. I know for sure it's 5% at tier 3.
All unlocked teachable perks become available to all survivors / killers at tier 1, as if you have already got that character to P1. In exchange, the tiers will not upgrade when you get the character to P1.
Hello! You didn't get the bloody cosmetics because the system changed. Now between P1 and P3 you get all teachable perks from that character unlocked in the inventory of all survivors. The tier is equivalent to the prestige reached. P1 is tier 1, P2 is tier 2 and P3 is tier 3. Now the prestige cosmetics are unlocked between P4 and P6. The former P1 cosmetic is now unlocked at P4, for example. Between P7 and P9, you unlock some charms that are related to the character's perks. I find the system to be much more grindy for survivor mains than before, unless you are a veteran. The only fix was for killers, making it easier to get all perks on all killers. As a survivor main who find killer to be very unfun and stressful even after the patch, I am disappointed. I only play nurse when I play killer and I only played killer because I didn't want to miss out on the free BP, so I could get all perks on all my survivors. DBD is unalive for me. I didn't play it in forever and in the past 6 months, I only played it to create content. The game is going down a black hole. They have incompetent game designers that have no idea what they are doing. They don't care about the players. They only care about money. I find it fun to create content, but the game is garbage. I switched to VHS. I recommend you do the same. It's more action packed, focused on strategy etc. It has the depth DBD lacks. The devs listen to the community and they also play their game. ARE THEY ARE GREAT AT IT! See you in VHS.
@@MindbenderTTV 100% agree, though I enjoy killer I find them to be just as grindy, but yeah this game went to shit really fast. It was fun a year and a half ago, I returned a week ago and found it in this state. What a sad time yo be a dbd fan.
I started playing almost a year ago (August 26, 2021). I loved the game. It reminded me of Friday the 13th, one of the first 4v1 games I have played. Meanwhile, I have tried plenty of 4v1 Games. I still believe Friday the 13th was superior to DBD and it could've been the AMD vs Intel or AMD vs nVIDIA or Android vs iOS kind of deal, but some a**hole decided they wanted money so they submitted a lawsuit for no reason, destroying the game. Other companies were other too greedy, did 0 marketing so nobody knew about the game or was straight up bad. VHS is the only game that will stand a chance and I truly believe in it.
Sure thing. If you have unlocked teachable perks in the past system, regardless of their current level, you will get a tier 1 version of that perk on all characters. If you reach P1 after the new system has released, the tiers will not update to tier 2, but remain to tier 1, as it should be. You can, however, go through the blood web and upgrade tier 1 perks manually, as we used to do, but it's a waste of blood points, since you are better off investing those in the character that owns it. Getting Meg to P3 Level 50 (you technically only need P3 Level 1, unless you didn't get all general perks), will only grant you her 3 unique teachable perks at tier 3 on all other survivors. Therefore, you will only get Adrenaline, Sprint Burst and Quick and Quiet. You need to get all survivors to P3 Level 1, while unlocking all general perks through the blood web to be able to have all perks on one character. Basically, with this system you either have all perks on all characters or partial perks on a few characters. Personally, I used to have only 3 survivors P3 Level 50 with all perks, leaving the rest of them at P0 Level 40. On the killer side, I only play Nurse, to make it easier for me to get grades fast, since I don't like playing killer. I had her P3 Level 50 with all perks and I had all other killers at level 40. After the announcement came that every prestige will give you two more levels of prestige, I knew I had to get all my characters to P1 Level 1, so they can be P3 Level 1, only having to get them about 50 more levels to get all general perks. I managed to do all survivors and 7 killers in the span of 1 week that I was doing (at the time, I was leveling dredge, got him to level 39 and then rushed my survivors, since they are more important to me). I knew that I need about 4 million blood points per character per DLC, so about 8 million blood points. Any spare BP, I can use on other survivors to get them the general perks and after that to level up my killers to P3 Level 1. If you manage to get to Iridescent I on both killer and survivor, you get 6,000,000 BP, which you can at least double if you play about 2 hours per day by completing rituals, challenges and playing the game.
Not being able to unlock Licensed characters perks makes the game extremely pay2win. Is the community really too stupid to fight back on this? And no waiting an entire year for the perks to enter the shrine is not acceptable
I totally agree with you. I stopped playing this game a long time ago. I log on every now and then. I even got banned for 2 weeks for telling someone to touch grass after being told I am unloved and I should coming unalive for stomping a 4 man toxic squad on Lery's after sweating profusely as Nurse. I stopped making video games in september when I first wanted to completely stop playing the game. Played a bit in january, then a bit in february, then a bit in march. No more than 1-2 hours during each month. Trying to get my money's worth, you know. I suggest you quit the game while you can. Sadly, nothing can be done about it. Licenses are what made DBD as popular as it is. Especially Halloween and Resident Evil. They will for sure add Five Nights At Freddy's too to get another surge in players. I personally learned about DBD after watching all SAW movies some time in 2018-2019. Didn't start playing it since august 2021, though. The reason was simple: too many microtransations.
Fun fact. The people that told me to unalive myself never got banned. I actually matched them 2 days after I got banned, while playing on my alt account (the one I use to record footage in custom games before bots were a thing). They had exactly the same behavior.
I made it look simple. It's pretty hard if you have no clue what you are doing though. This is why I made this video. To make it easier for players to understand how it works, from scratch. xD
@@MindbenderTTV Which is the best killer for beginners? I played wraith a few times, it isnt as easy as people make it out to be, I either get no kill or only one if Im lucky. It also sucks when I randomly get into a large ass map. Is ghost face a good killer to play at the beginning?
I think it's all about taste. If you can, try playing a few matches (5 matches) with every killer and see which ones you liked the most. If you can't watch others play said killers. For example, I like playing Plague and Pig, even though Pig is Weak. Ghostface is fun too. However, its not all about skill. If you get bad survivors (in behavior - pun intended, not skill) you will have a bad time regardless of how well you perform.
@@MindbenderTTV The thing is, I cant just spent a shit ton of money to get all killers if Im not sure I will keep playing but like I said in another comment, I stopped playing for now, Idk, whatever.
Not quite, because when you earn a prestige rank, your character level resets to 1, so technically is less work than progressing to level 150. It takes about 3 million blood points to reach Level 1 Prestige Rank 3 (the one you need, except if you didn't manage to unlock all teachable perks, in which case you need to go even further).
@@MindbenderTTV So your advice is play ONE surivor or one killer all the way until you reach prestige 3? lol noo, playing one character for ages isn't fun, Idk. As an absolutel beginner who basically just started, Im conflicted if I even should keep playing, Idk. Also, playing as a surviver is stressful AF.
Not play, but invest the Bloodpoints. You can spam Nurse, then switch to Pyramid Head, then spice things up with some Trapper and hate the game with a bit of Artist. All of this while leveling Clown for Pop, for example. :)
@@MindbenderTTV Bold of you to assume that I have all these killers, I dont. In fact, I stopped playing after 3 hours of total playtime. Idk, maybe Im expecting too much in the beginning, maybe Im not patient enough but it sucks when you get no kill or barely one. I read comments on reddit where people straight out said they don't recomment dbd to new players and the comments had like 300+ upvotes but I still didn't listen. Some guy said he tried killers after 200 hrs and even with good perks he barely can get a kill. Pretty sure survivers are more successful or let's say, you're better off playing as a surviver. Idk if I will get back to the game.
I didn't assume. I just said some examples. Yes, DBD is a trash game that lacks complete balance and I am not sarcastic. You can have games where you absolutely stomp survivors with 30-40 hours when you are a Nurse main with 1k hours on that killer alone, while you very new friend that just installed the game face comp players with 10k hours each. I definitely don't recommend this game. It's not even safe from a cyber security standpoint. Not once I got DDOSed and many people got even doxed just by playing DBD.
Agreed. You literally need to play for 3 hours per day to stay even remotely competitive. It takes about 5,000 hours to get everything, assuming you spend money to unlock all characters. And you need to play about 180 hours plus be Iridescent I as Killer and Survivor every month between DLCs to keep up with the content push that takes place every 3 months. It's insane!

Key elements that are not told in the tutorial (which will be overhauled):
• You can use the in-game voice chat by holding V on your keyboard.
Nooo wayyy dying light theme I love that game
Me too! I think Dying Light is the best game ever!
Hey, great video, tho what are your video settings? ur game looks clean asf
So basically
Prestige 1 get all perks on the respected category you’re playing as (survivor) or (killer) but you can upgrade them purple in the blood web?
Prestige 2 you get all the perks upgraded to green or if you’re higher prestige etc already without wasting time in the blood web?
Exactly. And at prestige 3, unlocks all the perks of that character on all characters of the same role (current and future) and makes them purple.
I reached P1 lvl 30 with Bill, and since lvl 25 I didn’t see any perks in the bloodweb !
Is that common?
The Dying Light music ❤❤
Hi after I prestige my Michael Myers I haven't got any perks since. I'm prestige 3 right now. Can you help
So the characters I had at Level 40+ before the prestige update, what happens to the perks?
All unlocked teachable perks become available to all survivors / killers at tier 1, as if you have already got that character to P1. In exchange, the tiers will not upgrade when you get the character to P1.
So you have to prestige 3 times to get 1 persons perks?
Yes.
bro i recently hit p3 for claudette and i dont have my blood clothes and i been searching the internet and nothing pops up pls help me
I have 6 character with their teachable perks unlocked but i prestige3 lvl 50 Meg but i didn't get all unlocked perks of tier 3 can you tell me why
@@MindbenderTTV ooook
I also had terrible security issues because of DBD. I commented at some point about it.
Your using dying light theme
Yes. I like how it fits in my videos. It's basically my signature.
It’s that simple? Wow
@@MindbenderTTV The thing is, I cant just spent a shit ton of money to get all killers if Im not sure I will keep playing but like I said in another comment, I stopped playing for now, Idk, whatever.
prestige 3 means lvl 150 right? XD
Bro the amount of grindind u have to do lol
@@MindbenderTTV Damn bro... I just started playing the game and already need a brake from toxic survivors lmfao, god help us all
Yeah, the DBD community is very toxic.
