I bought the Nuna Triv Next recently & it’s a great stroller however, I’m really disappointed with the way it sits on the ground folded. You have to lock both the front individual wheels and ensure they are facing forward for it to fold and stand on its own otherwise it falls over.
+1. Took me about 30 min to figure this out. Having to lock the front wheels in the “backwards” position is what got me. This is definitely not practical on a regular basis. Maybe for long term storage.
Omg Yessss that's so annoying! I would have never figured it out. My husband kept rolling his eyes at me for making him spend thousands for it when I don't think it's worth all the money. My babyzen yoyo pushes better. The bugaboo bee is much more practical. Wish I went with that instead...
I just purchased the Mixx Next but was wondering if you can do a comparison for Mixx Next vs Triv Next. I live in NYC but love that the Triv Next made some major improvements and it's 10 lbs lighter than the Mixx Next
Hi! I love your videos! I need a light stroller because of my back problems and I am currently choosing between the nuna triv next and inglesina electa. What would you choose?
@@MagicBeansVideos Is there any update on the bassinet, or an ETA? We really want a bassinet to go with this stroller. Is an uppababy bassinet compatible?
Are you sure you can add a bassinet to it? I heard that you can't that it is only available in the UK :/ lmk if mistaken...because thats what I realllyyyy want! thank you :)
Hi there! Yes, however Nuna has been sold out for months and they do not have a restock date. They are working on updates and we hope it releases soon 🤞🏽
I bought the triv a year and a half ago, based on these video reviews and I also had a consult when magic beans was doing free consults. I absolutely hate this stroller, terrible choice for our lifestyle and terrible choice for anyone that needs to use it more than a couple of times a week to zip in and out of a store. The front wheels get stuck constantly and it’s hard to get this stroller to move from stationary, front wheels will randomly just turn in the middle of you walking resulting in a hard stop which could tip the stroller over, it creaks and squeaks like it’s been at the bottom of the ocean and now you’re walking with it, it does not turn very easily so steering is just awful. Within 6 months of using the ‘leather’ handlebar, there was a hole in it. All of these issues started happening within a month. I’d feel guilty reselling this $600 stroller for $20 for how absolutely awful it is. I nannied before having my own kid and have used the Bob, uppa baby, bumble ride, and I cannot believe this nuna stroller is even in the same ‘luxury’ category. Positives are it’s light, easy to get in and out of car, and handlebar is tall. Other than that, I want to throw it into a dumpster fire.
It’s an amazing stroller! We had the same trouble with the wheels when we first got it but then added wd40 and haven’t had a problem since! It’s traveled from New York to Australia twice and we use it every day on cobblestones without a problem.
I agree! I bought this stroller based on these videos too and where i live it sells for 1200$ (all baby products are more expensive in my country) and I absolutely hate it, we have the same problem with the wheels getting stuck and randomly turning all the time and I heard the same from other users. We took it with us on a trip and it only made things harder for us!!
I've had the Nuna Triv stroller for a while now and I do not experience all of these issues. To be quite clear the Triv does not advertise as an all terrain stroller. Meaning yeah, it's just for those trips to the store. The wheels work perfectly fine for me, they do not squeak/turn oddly. The only thing I'd note is that the stroller does not perform well in grass and other difficult terrain. But that's because it's not all terrain! If you were looking for that kind of stroller, you should have picked the Tavo or Mixx. My Triv has sat out in a downpour in Pensacola, Florida rain and no rusting/squeaky sounds have occured. The only thing I'd have to complain about this stroller is that the leather on the handlebar has started to "come up" if that makes sense. But all in all, the Nuna Triv is a great every day normal errands stroller!
@@liviaraye878 yep, the only terrain I use it for are the inside of buildings and paved sidewalks/streets. Not trying to go hiking with it- just need it and the wheels to work. Glad you haven’t had the issues, however I would have liked to know some of the possibilities before buying.
Can the Triv Next seat be used later with the Demi Next as a second seat? To where I could start with this stroller and later upgrade to the Demi next when the second baby comes?
I’ve had the triv for a year and a half and I absolutely hate it every day that I have to use it, and it’s aged so terrible that I don’t even think I can get $30 for it reselling. If you plan to use it other than a few times a week to zip in and out of a store then do not get it.
Would love to see a comparison of this and the Cruz V2. Need a compact stroller for suburban lifestyle but walk a lot at the park so not sure if Cruz V2 would be better.
