    Which stone are you using here? Thanks for sharing the video....

      Hi, That stone is the Naniwa Chosera 1k (aka Green brick)
      I have moved on from that now and use the Kramer Zwilling Glass Stone 1k also made by Chosera.
      Thanks

    Interesting video. What do you do to test your edges before returning them to your customers? I actually do a short test shave.

      If I hone a razor using Nagura stones on a Japanese stone then I do not need to test the edge. As long as It performs on the HHT I'm good.
      Synthetic stones honing I will try a shave test...

    What grit stone is that?

    Joe what's that thin tape that you put over the scotch? Does it last through the full progression?

    • @EdgeDynamicsEnglishRazors
      @EdgeDynamicsEnglishRazors  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That is Polyamide tape aka Kapton tape.
      Really strong and smooth..
      It's a must :)

    Why do you use two types in the video instead of one?

      Hi Felix, what are you referring too?

    • @MrSilvestre587

      @@EdgeDynamicsEnglishRazors in the video you put two tapes on the spine of the razor.

      @@MrSilvestre587 The second layer is Kapton tape which is very durable and thin. It will save me from changing the black tape during honing. Thanks

    I know everybody can and does own differently, but you're the only one that I've seen turn the blade on the edge? you clearly do it good but everything I saw and heard was just the opposite so I kept on and kept on till I finally did it the opposite way, which I thought was the right way? oh well. enjoy your videos
