"But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you have come to obey from your heart the pattern of teaching that has now claimed your allegiance. You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness." Romans 6:17-18

Know that as God's people...
we are freed from sin as the Israelites were freed from Egypt
we are unified with Christ's death and resurrection
Clues to Live the Gospel
count yourself dead to sin (v. 12)
don't offer yourself to sin (v. 13a)
offer every part of yourself to God (v. 13b)
