  • It's another long one, but with a lot of action built in! I embark on a mission to find UP 1988, The Katy Heritage Unit, as well as other action from UP, and a little added bonus from BNSF! You'll see some pacing action with UP 1988, as well as some friendly crews, and a work train dumping ballast on the mainline! It sure is great to check off another UP heritage!

    Did you know that those RWSX 5-bays on that bnsf coal train indicates it came from the scherer power plant in southern Georgia? In Norfolk southern territory it would be symbolized in the 730 series.

    PS I love watching EMD units they are my favorites. I can't stand GE toasters they are boring ... I can't tell if they are in notch 3 or notch 7 they sound the same.
