I sometimes get the feeling that we are discouraged from going all in only for these individuals to sell us their extras on eBay. Idk. Just me.

@@mauldin128 "Controversial" stances get views, comments, etc. Which in turn feed content creator's need for attention, more likely to get them sponsors, etc.

I’m in it for the minis and the devourer himself. Yes I could 3D print an even larger Galactus but it takes too much time and resources. Plus he’s in scale with the other minis. Also Zombies!!!! I can’t wait.

I decided to wait. While the game looks fantastic, honestly, I can wait for retail. I have enough unpainted miniatures to keep me busy for decades :)

Is any of these coming out in stores? Like all the expansions?
It should be in stores soon there are two different versions. A less fancy version called Marvel Zombies Hero Resistance. It just doesn't come with a lot of stuff but enough to enjoy the game. And the base game of Marvel zombies will be in stores soon. No expansions yet that won't come out till later next year. Some of the expansions and miniatures are just Kickstarter exclusives so you won't be able to purchase them unless you backed it though Kickstarter
I’m a little bit confused me and my brother was thinking about buying it but we didn’t know if it’s coming out next year or if it’s out now ?
The Kickstarter for the game is going on right now. Think of it as a pre order, but with this you will get some extra stuff if you pay for it now even though you won't the game until later. You will also need to pay for shipping. Not all kickstarter are pre ordered but the people who are running this kickstarter have a good reputation of getting the game to the people who pay for it now. They are saying they can deliver the game in October of this year without any of the extra stuff. That stuff willl be coming hopefully in June 2023. If you want to wait until it gets released in stores you can but you will miss out on some Extra stuff. Hope that makes sense.
I'm not going all in, simply cause i Cant afford it and even if I could afford it I dont want a 2 foot plastic figure that I may only use a couple of times before it gathers dust. To answer another question you asked in your video, i want to get this game cause its marvel zombies which i enjoyed the comic series and this be my first Zombicde of which people rare about. But im wondering if to cancel my pledge with the core and X-men coming in at £170 pounds thats before VAT and shipping its going to cost me maybe over £200 to have....which seems awfully lot for a board game.
It totally is. I feel for everyone who has to pay VAT plus shipping on this. I know it looks like a great game but when is the price to high? It really not fair to European backers. People are paying the price though. I just waiting to see more unlocks to make my final decision. Just wish shipping was cheaper theses days. Thanks for your comment 🙂
@@JustAGeekyDad over on Gamefound there is Rise of the Necromancers its get is funding at 538%. To go all in will just cost me $170 and thats including VAT and shipping, comes with 4 boxs. So it shows you can ship at reasonable price. Where with this Marvel you got to buy both togehter i seen so many just want hero version and not the zombie one and between them thats over $200 and they dont even ship together
I’m not going all in but I love the minis so far (something I notice no one is talking about which is my primary motive). I’ve not played zombiecide but do have an interest. I don’t have “a ton” of marvel games (just a couple).
To me Galactus is just a bit much. I’d like to have the surfer (living and zombie) but not worth that tag. At this point I think resistance with FF add on (I’m a huge old school FF fan, but I understand modern readers may not know or appreciate those old tales). I’m sure there will be more add ons but I can’t think of anything I’d feel compelled to get. Of course I’ll probably be proven wrong lol.
Oh I am sure there have a tons of surprises left in store. As long as you're happy with your purchase that is all that matters. It's going to be a great game no matter what.

im not going to go all in. i plan on getting the core pledge and like an add on. i def dont need a giant galactus that will sit in my room or something just waisting space

A good reason is that the Hero Expansion doenst include any KS Exclusive yet.
Yup. That's why I think it's best to wait to retail to pick that up and save on shipping. I mean you could save a bit picking up now but it's up to anyone to decide if they want to spend the money now then later.
@@JustAGeekyDad It's hitting retail, but in what quantity? Meanwhile, CMoN price fixes how much of a discount retailers are supposed to give, so for me it's not worth saving ~$15 in the hopes I can snag a copy.
That CMoN didn't include any exclusives with the X-Men Resistance is odd. Like they didn't care (or want) people backing it on KS. Or they knew people would gobble it up regardless. Driving all the (non-expansion) KSEs with the Marvel Zombies core would imply they really wanted people to back that at least. Maybe it was a Spin Masters thing though?

Have you seen prices of the giant Cthulhu from CMON's Cthulhu Die May Die? If you can afford it, buy it and then sell it on the after market for twice as much.

I do mention that in the video that there will be another all in. The Galactus pledge is just currently the all in at the time of this video. It's going to be expensive. 😛💰
I want more Miniatures
The Galactus is not really considered a 'mini' anymore, but it's awesome. I ordered the all in Masters of the Universe already, so I'm good on plastic crack for now
Ι watched today's live steam and I got blocked just for saying that they cannot use the marvel loisence as an excuse for asking 130 dollars for the core game or that stretch goals start counting after 2 million dollar mark and demanding 1 million to unlock two minis
Yea I don't understand their stretch goals... That sucks. They kind of explained that they want to keep the hype up through the campaign but I mean I don't know I never ran Kickstarter so I'm trying to understand from their point of view.
They got more than enough money to have unlocked everything, they just don't want to show us all everything cuz then the hype will be gone.
@@JustAGeekyDad I've seen folks insist that these mini-heavy campaigns plan all their SGs in advance and intend to give backers everything from day one. The truth is, funding and backer numbers both make a big difference in what SGs are given out. If, hypothetically, Marvel Zombies made $600,000, I promise we would not be getting any of these stretch goals. How much did CMoN need to give everything? I have no idea. I seriously doubt it was anywhere close to what they finally made though, with their real goal being much much lower.
Now, is $130 enough to justify this game? I dunno'. Undead or Alive's core pledge was $100, had ~167 minis with KSEs. Marvel Zombies was released a year later during a time of unprecedented inflation, using the Marvel license, and the core came with ~169 minis. It's certainly more expensive, but I'm not convinced it's excessively so. But we aren't even considering the design work that goes into making two versions of every super and bystander in the game (one for Zombie mode, one for Hero mode). I doubt there's a lot of work involved, but it still needs to be done. I mean, there's also things like the Multiple Man, Thanos, and Red Skull character boards that go into the KSE for the core (if I recall correctly). I dunno'.
