I'm going to agree with 99% of your likes and dislikes except the no weapons part. Personally, wasting turns searching for equipment is the most boring part of every zombicide, so not adding items makes the pace faster and more fun. The less downtime doing stuff that is not the main objectives the better.
Given what they did with DCeased, I wouldn't be surprised if they go for Marvel Zombies Season 2 with weapon cards for new and old heroes, like Marvel United Multiverse. And this game HAS to get a Season 2 somehow, it is CMON's most successful Kickstarter yet, and 4th most successful campaign in the Tabletop category.
@@jonathangillies6531 lol, Punisher is not going to happen. Even if Marvel wasn't being weird about the character because of real life stuff, they're not going to let the figure be holding a gun anyway, and CMON doesn't want to hear everyone complaining that Punisher is holding a knife or metal pipe.
Great review! I'm a long time Zombicide fan and this one is by far my favorite. I haven't been this excited to play MORE MORE MORE Zombicide since Black Plague came out years ago. This is also the first time my son (12) has shown any interest in playing board games since it's full of characters he already knows and loves, so I'm super happy about that. Anyway, thanks for the video. Earned you a new sub :)
I have the whole thing. I'm waiting for a friend of mine to have some time so we can can bust it out, together. Right now, we're making our way through a big fan-made campaign with Marvel United. : D
Here it is mid-December, already, and I'm still waiting on my single-wave shipping to arrive. I ordered everything other than the plastic tiles and dice. I'll be lucky to get it before the end of the year. So sad...
Thanks!!! So glad I found you video, I im in the situation where I have kids ( agee 4 to 11) and I am looking games I would enjoy as an adult but could also play with them even if I have to help them. I am trying very had to find games to lure them away from videogames and get them more interested in board games so the games needs to have a high "cool factor". A game about stacking sheep would not cut it for now event if the gamplay is awesome. So far I was successfull with games like King of tokyo and hearo realm, but I need more! I think this games ticks a lot of boxes! If you are ever in need of ideas fo YT content, something like " adult board games you can play with kids" / "kids games that does not suck as an adult" / "games to get you kids aways from videogames" woudl be very interesting, surely I am not the only dad in that situation.
I just had my first few plays last night and really liked it! I am not seeing a lot of content out there other than just reviews. Do you have any thoughts about which zombie heroes are the best?
It was indeed a licensing issue with Spider-Man Zombie. But just wanted to mention that are 2 Marvel Zombies storyline, and the older one Spider-Man is indeed a zombie, and one of the best panels is where he is sitting in a spaceship, playing cardgames with other superheroes, and he talks about when the hunger came and he ate aunt May. That is where you really understand how the hunger works.
Was the only reason I didn’t back the campaign and went for heroes resistance instead. He’s shown up in 4 separate zombie apocalypse arcs and was the lone hero survivor in one. Can’t have a marvel zombies game without The Punisher!
He'll yeah. I'm just sticking to X-Men and X-force characters till I get bored then I'm going to do new York with midnight sons and street defenders vs zombie avengers. I also really want to use the minis from this game to do the rpg. A rpg campaign through the zombie marvel universe would be amazing!

Superheroes don't need weapons they don't already have.
Dceased equipment search mechanic is actually good. There is only 1 equipment per location and the equipment is only limited

Yea iI wouldn’t be surprised either.
Punisher with a van full of weapons would be an awesome way to add equipment and weapons to season 2 haha

Thanks appreciate that 😃. Hope you guys make lots of memories playing it.
I'm the same here, i'm wanting to try out the white death that just got his kickstarter last year. All Dinasty warriors characters is a must.

That sounds fun!!
if you have it all, there is 3 super hero spider-man (Peter parker) But no ZOmbies version of it, it is weird
The zombie mode is significantly harder but also i like the hunger mechanism

That super sucks. Hope you find the game worth the wait.
The only Zombicide game I could really get into is the one that most people tell me is the worst one! Night of the Living Dead
Night of the living dead atmosphere is really good. Its the zombicide that is actually scary. You are trapped inside an old house defending yourselves

It is cool that the DC zombicide has gear again.
Because Spiderman is a survivor in comics too.
True.

Do you still play Marvel Zombies? Or has the game "died down" a bit, when it comes to your personal experience with your gaming group?
Love your painted figures....I only have ...umm...10 painted.
Thanks I only really have the core box painted no bystanders yet
Biggest miss for me is no Punisher. I would love to play him and gun down zombies.

This was one of marvel's things they said that CMON couldn't do. 2 other things were no zombie spider man, or zombie black panther
X men resistance and heroes resistance are compatible?
Apparently, CMON is pronounced see-mon, not like “come on”. Also, bystanders, not bystandards.
Have you played the game?

Good vid.
My only suggestion....
Put your hands in your pockets when you talk. Your excessive hand waving was distracting. But that's just me.
