The funny thing about the Uppercut is that it requires another blaster to actually work. I've seen a video where someone got consistent 80fps figures by shooting a Nerf Dog tennis ball launcher into the handle of the Uppercut to fire it
One good reason to have triggerless blasters is to bypass toy regulations. With a trigger, a blaster is a "stored energy" toy and subject to stricter projectile energy regulations. There are blasters for younger kids that legally cannot have triggers for that reason. I've never seen one, but I'd love if a company made a triggerless blaster that could hit 250 fps.
I found the crossbow pistol at my local Dollar General for 5 bucks. Another neat thing about it is you can squeeze the ball bearings up in the elastic band that hold it in place to make it tighter and shoot a little harder.
I found both of the Uppercuts at Five Below on clearance for like 1.75 each. If you were looking for them I would check discount stores. Ollies I've seen them at for sure but maybe Ross, DDs or Big Lots may have them. They were too rich for Five Belows blood so they're sticking with Hero blasters.
At the SENC: Chicken: It's time for Jolts Only Round Me: Can I use my uppercut? Someone else: It's even worse than the Jolt, I think it's fine I got to use the Uppercut. No tags
As counter intuitive as it would've been, you could also slap the Uppercut on the back of your hand if you're holding darts in it. Heck, get two and slap them together
Time like this have me wondering why all the foam flingers I watch seem to have just ditched the larger yet easier to shoot through chronographs from Caldwell, wouldve been perfect for triggerless blasters or larger ones that are hard to aim at these small holes.
@@beretnarf Ah thats on me for the generalization from past experiences, just noticing caldwells being used years ago and then out of the blue the community switched and everyone that shows a chrono uses this style. Despite its downsides for the hobby with darts hitting the interior giving off readings and the general trouble of aiming a blast at it with out building a rig to hold them steady.
With the crossbow you could delete the handle and mount it on your wrist/arm and it will still work fine, the upper cut I don't know why you would buy it
for 3 dollars the buzz bee is pretty awesome i would say... you can also easy mod this thing by putting more rubber bands together. the nerf uppercut: i love nerf and i love the jolt... but this abomination - i dont have words... at least they were creative and tried something new (if this tec wasnt used before in a retro nerf blaster - i dont know).
Hans Yolo Customs has seen this crossbow. I just sketched out full auto 200fps for the lulz. Might build it this weekend, might not, there are really no wars around here anymore.
The Fortnite GL would be a great triggerless blaster if using it didn't cause thumb injuries... A springer mechanism might have been nice for accuracy but missiles aren't exactly the pinnacle of precision ammunition.
@@beretnarf The non-removable stock was a weird one, considering there were no internals behind the front of the 'trigger' well to get in the way (and the original price). Same with reducing the angle of the rocket fins. Can't believe Hasbro nerfed the ammo to make bullying super zombies harder.
Can a foam dart company please make a air pump/tank rocket launcher where you pump it to your hearts content/till it gets difficult, then pull the trigger to launch
The roblox blaster is bad, but it’s mechanism doesn’t support a trigger because it’s a HAMP (high airflow manual plunger), which doesn’t work with a trigger. Don’t get me wrong, the blaster is garbage and is really expensive.
Beret: I will now chronograph these two blasters
Chronograph: So you have chosen death

It’s a one sided team
It does not require, its optional
While a slap-to-fire blaster seems inherently flawed, I think a slap-to-PRIME single shot blaster is an idea who’s time has come.
Nerf finally made it! They really beat Dart Zone with a 178 fps stock blaster! Amazing! Lol
we spent all of our time making fun of the uppercut for being a worse jolt
boy, were we WRONG
That little chronograph montage killed me.
That being said...
*You did this to yourself*

The Busby crossbow pistol seems like something you'd use to slay Goliath
Its good to see a crossbow that actually uses the bow part even of it is basically a slingshot
buzzbee also has a triggerless dart-shooting slingshot for adventure force. it's actually kind of good

"and now I can be reasonably harsh". Best. Comment. Ever. for an Alpha Strike blaster :)

Try holding the uppercut upsidown. I know that sounds weird, but it actually makes it far easier to hold steady and fire properly.
At least the Buzz-Bee one is practically a Slingshot. The Uppercut is just sad
As counter intuitive as it would've been, you could also slap the Uppercut on the back of your hand if you're holding darts in it. Heck, get two and slap them together
i modded mine with wrapping the string from the bow arms three times brass barreled it and removed the air restrictor
shoots about mid 80s low 90s

"ditched"
I've never owned a large Caldwell chrono

"Fire it by slapping the butt", isn't that how Luca works?
i really hate keep getting silent killed by that smol crossbow, it really good for sneaky play and just play it like real slingshot
I’m glad you’re getting some silly load outs with your new club.
glad you did this type of video today Beret
You know what else has no trigger? Hand throwing a dart as if it was a bō shuriken.
I do that when a blaster jams.
"...but I know how to make it worse." 😂

I found a design for an old German bb gun that would make a nice realistic bolt action blaster
when you were in NJ we could have hung out or did you buy it on line lol

Here's a good blaster with no trigger: the ZombieStrike RevReaper! (and most other mechanical flywheelers)
Revreaper is on a different level! That blaster is a ton of fun.
About the only good use of the Uppercut is as a forward grip.
After having a crossbow pistol, you can use short darts without mods. The other one sucks.

Best nerf war strat get packaged uppercuts and keep on shooting 177 fps
I got the Nerf Uppercut on clearance for $0.50, I was still disappointed
Is there any blaster in existence harder to aim than the Uppercut???
Hans Yolo Customs has seen this crossbow.

Only the highest level nerf gameplay

So strange the decisions they made with that one...

I left?
Awesome

Fire whoever decided a budget jolt that’s already a budget was good idea you can get a microshot for $2
You can buy a microshot for $2?
@@beretnarf yea targets site has them for $2 the red variant online only
Where revreaper
Woohoo, I'm early!
Edit: Also they both seem pretty terrible, maybe just get a jolt...

I'll take the buzzbee one thanks lol
