Video Trip Report: Rogue River @1450 CFS

Video trip report of the rogue river in Oregon.
This video trip report of the rogue runs through the permitted wild and scenic section. I have tried to include all class 3 rapids except horseshoe bend and devils stair, from Grave creek boat ramp to foster bar.
The rogue river is a gem located in the southern part of Oregon and in my opinion is the greatest multi day rafting trip in Oregon. You could argue that there are other better rivers, such as the Illinois, but you don’t have the year round flows and family friendly camps and rapids.

Really nice video. I’ve always gone right at the alligator rock in Wildcat. I love the move to catch the eddy below the island then getting over left. I am letting my daughter row the Rogue for her first time this week. Will give it a shot. Wildcat makes me almost as nervous as Blossom

If you don’t get a permit next year, it’s really easy to get a cancellation permit for really small groups. Or in September you can go any day you want because there is always tons of unused permits

Ordinarily, shipping forward works ... except in the middle chute. Throwing them forward (as they ended up for you) always seems to work.
