It is one of Oregon's warmer rivers during the summer. Get on Illinois river road at Selma. Go past 8 dollar mountain with rocks that shine and beautiful views and primitive camp sites. It was nice then but haven't been back for 20 years.
We started at Miami bar. For packing back, you for sure could. The trail comes back to the water at mile 25. The trail isn’t great, but you can use it from 25 back to the put in

@@PrivateWhitewater Echo that - we had a 75 degree first day and I was frankly colder in the dry suit because of all the sweat than I would have been in a wetsuit

Yeah totally! Wetsuits are a great option on the illy
