Got a Comp this week and ran several hundred rounds through it including hardcast and hyperfast 155 grain. It handled everyhting not one FTF or hiccup. The comp is outstanding and this is great effort by Sig. it’s controllable and fits me fantastic. The accuracy is way above its price point. It will be my daily carry when I get my holsters.
I keep running across this gun in my search for my next 10mm. I keep passing it by hoping for a hammer fired option. But I am starting to think I need to just bight the bullet and go get the X-TEN Comp.
Would love to see a comparison between the xten comp and the s&w 10mm performance center. Can’t believe no one has compared these yet since they’re the only factory comped 10mm on the market
I need that comparison too because I plan on buying one of those 2 guns. If they have the same recoil impulse ima get the sig because of size and reliability. But, if the smith pc has softer recoil I’ll be willing to fiddle with springs to make it reliable. Nobody is doing that comparison. Maybe it’s because the smith has a way longer slide. Hopefully we’ll see some comparisons soon.
I’ll take the comp. It gets the best reviews. GOOD trigger, Soft shooting 10mm, accurate, comfortable to shoot. Retiring my older G29. I shoot 180gr underwood. Good ammo 👍
I'm calling my X10 comp a 14+1. The 15th round rigidly bottoms out in mag. No problem loading a 15 round mag, as long as the chamber is empty, slide open from last mag dump, even better. Warning for tactical reloaders, at least anecdotally.
I’m still waiting for sig to make an AXG 10mm that takes the same mags as these.. I have the Sig Tacops 1911 in 10 and love it. All metal double stack would be nice. I didn’t have the cash back when Para made them and I’m not buying a RIA version.
Great video! Two things I would like to know: 1) I use the 10mm for woods defense out here in the West and I would like to see a comparison through a chronograph. I am curious how much velocity is lost with the shorter barrel in the comp model (3.8" vs 5.0") 2) If we were to do shoot these in low light conditions would the comp model have more muzzle flash that the non-comp model. If you ever get a chance to have both of these guns in your hands at the same time it would make an interesting video.
since the comp is I assume throwing smoke out off the top do you think it affects your visual field longer after you shoot it or no? Just looking at the video you can tell how much more smoke is being thrust vertically in the compact compensated one.
Sig you bastards, bought the xten with optic last year and now the comp comes put! You’re killing me 😅. Having just bought a p365 xl Spectre comp there’ll be no added purchases….. this month 😂
Do you know if the magazines shipping with those are different than what ships with the original XTen? I’ve had nothing but problems with the mags and heavy loads. Actually ended up going with a Glock 20 because I can’t trust them to feed correctly.
I had like two or three in the first hundred rounds, the bullet would get caught on the feed ramp. Got about a thousand rounds through it since then, no issues.
By going to a shorter 3.8 barrel , you are getting 40 SW velocities even with full power loads. This in comparison to a full size 4.25" barrel USP 40 and weighing 5 oz more. Reinventing the wheel.
Oh man! That X-Ten Comp could be my next purchase, never had a comp either. I love my original X-Ten.
It's a 10mm compact beast!
I will wait for the xten endure comp to come out lol. You know how sig does it.

I love the Comp!
Thanks for the post. I think the comp is my next handgun. 👍
Yea always nice to have options at the 10mm
The more the merrier!

I could see one of those Endures in my future. I would love to see a 6" barrel as a hunters model.
A 5 inch barrel that's threaded would be a dream
I'd love to see any kind of long slide P320 for use with the Flux chassis.
Love Gunfighters Inc. chest holsters! They live 15 mins away from me. Great guys.
They are about 20 mins from me and i have one of their Chest holsters, Very Good quality
I’m a sucker for good camera work and editing. Like that opening.
I will wait for the endure comp to come out or the special versionof the comp to come out
Just picked up my Endure yesterday, love it so far

@@9MilRidgelol does that mean yes?

I've been waiting for this review. You don't even know how happy I am. Thank You. So which one is numer one, SIG xten or xten comp?
I like them both, but I think I like the Comp the most. I'll to do some more testing first to make sure.

I have a P220 Stainless SAO, and it is flawless but the comp looks really promising.

I've got a couple videos on that. Check out my page on TH-cam and you'll find it
Just picked up my xten endure, only 2499 left on the market!
Awesome congrats!

No, not at all. Follow up shots are much quicker than the non-comped version.
I'd like to see the difference shooting hit 135/155's vs 180/200's thru the comped gun
Couldn't find any 135's but I did find everything else. Check out my latest video.
What is the name of the shoulder holster set up? Thanks
Gunfighters INC

That Comp looks amazing. Does anyone know if 10mm needs a certain barrel length to get max performance out of the round? Thanks
Will be testing that soon! Stay tuned
Love my Endure👍
It's beautiful and a fantastic gun!
When I look at the Endure grip I see Christmas trees instead of mountains.
What chest holster are you using here? Good vid so far!
Gun fighter Inc… I asked the Q early! Thx!
No problem!
It sure looks like the shorter one with the comp cut stays flatter
It definitely does stay flatter. It's one of my favorite 10mms now!
The endure is not nose heavy like the first one that came out with
I have the same chest rig for my g40. I would like to get the sig
What would u guess the % recoil reduction is vs the G20? Is it worth almost double the price?
Do you know if the magazines shipping with those are different than what ships with the original XTen? I’ve had nothing but problems with the mags and heavy loads. Actually ended up going with a Glock 20 because I can’t trust them to feed correctly.
Same mags, I have 3 xtens and they all run everything great.
Can the XTEN slide work on the carry frame?
They are the same frame and different slide size. So yes.
I looked at an Endure a few weeks ago..not saying its not worth, but the price tag made me put it down
It's definitely not cheap!
Sigs finish is sub par. Their cerekote doesn’t hold up, my m18 slide is a year and a half old and looks like ten.
anyone had feeding issues with the Xten comp?
I had like two or three in the first hundred rounds, the bullet would get caught on the feed ramp. Got about a thousand rounds through it since then, no issues.
Wtf is the xten endure?
Yo buddy.. gotta change your name to 10 mill ridge. Then ill subscribe.
Which one do you like more?
The Comp overall
Why do you like the comp the best?
Just picked up a x-ten can it run 15+1 or just 15
It'll do 15+1
Thought this was 9mil ridge 😂 better change that name
Ok, some times it's 10 Mil Ridge.🤣😅

Those gloves are more worthless than nothing. A pair of mechanics gloves would warm your hands more than those gas station nylons.
