Bro rating is depend on loss.....in transmission line the current is less and voltage is high because of reduce the I^2R losses...... So no current loss is less and only voltage losses.....that's why the rating is kv instead of kw......but in transformer both current and voltage losses occur so that transformer rating is KVA.....
