I rebuilt my carburetor. It now performs better then what the Yamaha dealer / shop fixed uears ago. My Yamaha purrs like a kitten, but bites like a tiger.

What carb did you get? What is the replacement part number? I am looking for a new carb but it seems I can’t find what I am looking for. I have a 1985 YFM 200

200 carbs are very hard to find, I don’t have a new one I fixed the old one you could try to buy a 225 carb and put the 200 jets in it but I don’t know if that’s a good idea

Spencer Adams It looks like they are hard to find without spending 150 - 300 bucks for a used one. I wonder if one of the cheap knock offs would work. And the dimensions are all over the place with them as well....

Just rebuild the one you have. It's not that hard to do.
