  • damper stuffed with a hot dog bacon onion and cheese mate these are awsome. really cheap and easy to make at home or camping. makes 8 filling dogs. recipe below
    8 hot dog frankfruits
    bacon chopped and fried
    onion chopped and fried
    grated cheese
    mustard optional
olive oil or any oil to cover bottom of pan
    bbq sauce and tomato sauce
    damper
    4 cups self raising flour
1 tea sp salt and good crack pepper
    1 tea sp mustard powder
    1/4 cup parmesen cheese
    1/2 cup milk
    1 table sp margarine
2 cloves garlic crushed or 3 tea sp jar garlic optional
    1 cup water
    1 egg beaten
its important when you fry them that you take your time so the cheese can melt and the dog can heat up.
you can wrap left over dogs in alfoil heat them in alfoil the next day in oven or freeze then heat in oven

Oh my days, this is another roomie recipe (it's great for when the kids have their mates over) my boy may need some practice with the dough and rolling it out, but hell, he's got 6 months to practice, thanks Nikki x

naww your so welcome mate im gonna redo this one at some stage. just remember the thinner the dough the better. if they roll it a little to fat and doesnt cook properly throu the middle just wrap them in alfoil and sick em in the oven for a bit. left over ones you can do the exact same thing cover foil and in oven. there so nice the next day. or if your camping alfoil and coals the next day xo 💜
