I’m sure it’s a great gun. I was tempted to get it for $295 but realizing during the checkout process that almost $50 in shipping is added on top, the temptation kinda went away. I may still get it down the line, or I may pay them a visit in NC next time I’m down there (if that’s an option), but for the time being I passed.

Thank you! No one ever mentions this. I noticed the shipping rates change too. It bounces between $37 and $50ish. The rates seemed to go up the closer the gun model got to selling out. It could be a coincidence, but.... .I know it is probably still a good buy, but I can't get past them baking their prices in their shipping rates. Tax was expensive, too
I’d take a chance on a Grizzly as opposed to a Hi-Point or another Taurus. I’ve had the Taurus PT-111 Millineum Pro in the past and it was a HEADACHE. The gun was so bad that Taurus initially offered any owner $150 back to turn in their gun due to a national recall where if there was a round in the chamber and the gun was on safe, if you pulled the trigger the gun would still go off. 😮 PT-111 owners said screw that deal because the MSRP at the time was $300. To get their guns back and avoid further lawsuits Taurus offered any PT-111 a BRAND NEW G2C. I jumped on this deal and sent back my gun to TAURUS for a new G2C and guess what…the G2C was a NIGHTMARE too. This time you pull the trigger and the gun WOULD NOT FIRE. And no it was not an ammo issue! Just see CARRYTRAINERS videos on TH-cam on the G2C and I had the exact same problems. Long story short is that this GRIZZLY can’t be any worse than crappy TAURUS. I need a garage gun and I’m willing to give em a go for that price 💯💯💯💯
Those guns were before Taurus even started making changes the millennium was before their new CEO took over all g3 series now are fine Taurus now has engineers from m&p sig too they have stepped up
Yeah and I’ve never had a problem with any of my Taurus pistols and they have a lifetime warranty and it’s good for ever! My daughter and granddaughters and further on down the line can use the warranty if something was to break!
How did your G2C not go boom? You can pull the trigger as many times as you need to, it doesn’t have to be cocked, the trigger is like a revolver , ??? But with more rounds in it.

He has two reviews with the G2C one of which is called “REVISITING THE G2C” and the problems he experienced with his are the EXACT SAME problems I experienced with mine. You’ve got to finagle and finesse the trigger a certain way at a bizarre side angle for it to shoot and even then it may still not go off. My G2C was BRAND NEW fresh from the Taurus factory as well yet NOTHING BUT PROBLEMS out of it!

That window in the slide makes it a “no” for me. I prefer no fancy slides (don’t even want front serrations, they’re useless to me.) but otherwise it looks pretty nice.
It depends on the purpose of the gun. They are putting out a lot of features for a fraction of the price and a lot of people are buying guns based on those features.

It's a good gun but be sure to run it before trusting any gun

The windows are really there to decrease the weight of the slide. Sure, they give them a different look, but that's the real reason
