BARE FOOT 4-EVER, I TRANSITIONED ABOUT 50 Thoroughbreds from shoes to BARE FOOT in my life. most of them couldn't walk when we pulled the shoes. Did a LOT of soaking feet, built a nice mud hole cross tie, hung a hay bag & soak soak soak those damaged hooves. PULL THOSE SHOES PEOPLE, you will finally be riding a horse that is SOUND, find a PROPER BAREFOOT TRIMMER, not some back woods foot lopper to destroy their feet, find a PROPER BAREFOOT TRIMMER who knows the PROPER function & anatomy of a horse's hoof & you will be able to ride ANY horse BARE FOOT for HOURS & HOURS & HOURS ON THE TRAILS in ANY CONDITION's, over rock, shale, mud, gravel, you name & a horse will carry you BAREFOOT ANYWHERE if you properly trim their feet & for petes sake PULL THOSE DAMMING SHOES OFF OF THOSE POOR HORSES.

@@horsesbydesign Thanx for being 1 of the VERY few of us that actually knows that horses are born BAREFOOT & are designed for & have the ability to travel many thousands of miles in their lifetime over ALL KINDS of TERRAIN including ROCK, SHALE, PEBBLES, GRAVEL, up & down mountains with un-even & VERY rough footing, NOT just sand, grass, harrowed dirt arenas.... & Our naked footed horses will never take a bad step riding them for HOURS over any nature made ground unlike the poor horses with those harmful nails driven into their poor feet of iron, our horses can FEEL their feet & FEEL the ground under their feet, JUST LIKE WE DO BAREFOOTED! YES horses FEEL their feet as you said. It is not shocking to me what humans say, "horses MUST WEAR SHOES" & how WRONG I am that YES ACTUALLY 100% ALL HORSES CAN & WILL BE ABLE TO DO THIS BAREFOOT, I do not say this off the top of my tongue, I have PROVED this with 100% of at least the 50 horses, mostly THOROUGHBREDS, who "we know MUST WEAR shoes to be rideable"??? NOT- Keep up the good work & you'll get better & better the more years & more horse's feet you trim. You have passed the first step of actually knowing they shouldn't wear shoes. : )))
