"Oyster Shoot" (eating a raw oyster just after it is opened) when she was 9 yrs old, years before I met her. From that time on she believed that she had developed an allergy to pork. It was so severe that when she would make a mistake and fry an egg in the same pan bacon had been cooked in, she would end up in an emergency room with the most unbearable abdominal pain. Nothing would touch it other than 15mg of morphine sulfate. Due to my extensive study of parasitology, one day it finally "hit me" as I had no previous knowledge of he oyster shooting.

Her Gastroenterologist instead of using the medication that I gave the name for, she did an endoscopy and attempted to cut it up. My wife went into a severe shock from a pancreatic failure, which she had caused. After it was over, the doctor took me to a private room and told me about her amazing discovery of a parasite in the main gallbladder duct. My response was "No Shit Sherlock! I had already told you and you could have given her the medicine." If we had not been staying at a guest house across from the main hospital building I would not have the love of my life now. PLEASE REMEMBER THAT WHEN RUSSIANS DO OYSTER SHOOTING THEY ALWAYS FOLLOW IT WITH A HALF PINT OF VODKA! Perhaps the large quantity of pure vodka at least damages the larva. Thereby at least weakening the larva to the point that it can't take residence in the gallbladder duct. Pancreas failure, in a mater of minutes can lead to damage of a number of other organs. I personally hate oysters, but I can tolerate a well cooked recipe with small young oysters. I shouldn't be saying this since we would like to sell our oysters, it's not a substitute for Viagra! Their high in Zinc which is known to help men.
