I respectfully disagree. Although it would be nice to have their blessing but this isn’t their life. At the end of the day this is your life. And if you think he loves you and you love him and you think he is the right person for you ( he- himself, his character, the way he treats you, and his ideology) then I say any person should make a decision based on that factor. Not others, including family. You said his parents are still happy about his marriage. But how sure are you that HE is still happy????? Unless there is a problem for you that you didn’t tell us regarding him , I wouldn’t advise anyone to make a life altering decision just because of parents or any third party. I get that this is your life and your decision but I wouldn’t advise others to make a decision based on other’s opinions regarding their life and destiny.but to each their own and glad it worked out for you! Just curious to hear his side of the story.
