After changing the rack and pinion the VSC light will come on after driving down the road about half a mile. To reset pull the negative off the battery terminal for a few minutes. However, after doing so passenger window control from the driver's seat will also need to be reset. To reset go to each passenger window and work the windows a few times fully opening and closing. Control should be regained from drivers side window control. Hope this helps someone.

If off centered and wasn’t aligned right with the steering wheel, does the alignment shop adjust and corrects this or they only adjust the toe and camber?

depending on how bad your steering wheel is off , if your off a quarter tuen or less if you ask them to center the wheel they can, if it's upside down there's not much you can do , except take it off and try and line it up . thanks for watchin

What's the difficulty level of this repair would you say? If you're someone who's only say changed rotors & pads on their RX350, is this levels above that or what would you say? I know mechanic says the book on this is something like 15hrs but he says his tech thinks he can do it in 8hrs. Just wondering if I'd be CRAZY to attempt this.

I would not recomend it there are some tricky things with lining up the rack properly so that you dont damage the rack and that it turns and steers properlly. Also so that the steering wheel is properlly aligned. Thanks for watching besure t like and subscribe to get all my latest tips and tricks

Inspect your knuckle and look for a wide spline mark and make sure they are both lined up on both sides

Just need to replace the oil seal, no need to change the whole rack.

My mechanic is charging me 1350$ parts and labor for this 😭😭, which seems a lot man !!! And the steering pump as well for another 1200$ 🤦🏿‍♂️🤦🏿‍♂️
