Modellbauausstellung 2013 Ebensee Blechspielzeug

Ein Gustostückerl nicht nur für Kinder war das zum Teil über 70 Jahre alte funktionstüchtige Spielzeug aus Blech. OSR Peter Höller aus Traunkirchen führte den interessierten Besuchern seine Raritäten, die er seit einigen Jahren sammelt, mit viel Geduld vor.

Lots of great toys. Mechanical miracles. Back in the mid 70's, I saw one of these at my kindergarten school on top of a cupboard and I never had a chance to play with it or see it working. 50 years later, thanks to internet, now I know. The frustration of a lifetime.

There's an old memory, right there with the tumbling kitten, playing with the ball. Mine used get all over the place - The ball propelled the kitten along the floor. The kitten's tail flipped the kitten over so that it would run in the opposite direction. I haven't seen mine since somewhere around 1963!

I think some of these older toys are cooler than most of the crap they make now.

Ich komme zwar aus Nürnberg und ein Verwandter arbeitete bei Schuco und Bing und ich bekam einiges an Blechspielzeug. Ich fand das Meiste davon jedoch ziemlich öde weil spielen konnte ich damit nicht. Das Zeug spielte für sich selbst und ich konnte nur zusehen.
