- There is oil everywhere in the engine compartment of this tired Volvo V70 from 04. It started with the last video where we were going to do a compression test, then we found that the ignition coils and spark plug holes were bathed in oil. It is also the case that the Volvo pushes oil out a little here and a little there, so I suspect that the PCV valve ventilation is blocked. In this video we are going to tear out the PCV system and inspect a little more where all the oil is coming from. There is a lot to be unscrewed, so this will be a video where we have to divide the work into 2 sections. In this first section, we slowly dig down to the PCV valve system and to the oil trap. They are probably not that strange that it leaks oil in strange places when it looks like this.

Är det stor skillnad på denna model som på Volvo v70 2009? Kan man byta själv då med? Hittar bara vevhusventilation kits för v70 fram tills 07

Har en v50 1.8 från 2006... har dragit lite olja men började idag att ryka mycket...

är det vit rök ? eller blå rök. Jag har mest erfarenhet att ryker det vit rök så är det sannolikt topplockspackning. Är det blå rök, ja kolvringar, eller nått med ventil styrningarna. Även vevhusventilation som är igensatt. Tyvärr inga videos på V50🙁
