I am a 26 year old grown man. I still cry tears of joy after every victory. The people of Ukraine did not go down. The people fought back and took back Kherson. Glory to Ukraine. Glory to the heroes.

People are misunderstanding Russia's tactics here. Russia is trying to negotiate with the west at the G20. Russia wants to try to get the west to force Ukraine to allow Russia to keep the East of Ukraine and Russia will give up on the South. Russia will start attacking infrastructure in Kherson after the G20. Russia knows it can longer win this war, it just has to resort to terrorism.

I heard about the liberation at work and immediately went to my colleagues to let them know. We all celebrated with a 5 minute break and a pastry each.
Russian State Media said the army took all of their vehicles and equipment with them. The video shows them running in panic across a pontoon bridge, not riding in a tank or towing their artillery.
Anyway, there are plenty of videos of plenty of abandoned Russian equipment. Reddit has loads. Do you know, I think that sometimes, the Russian State Media do not tell the exact truth. I will have to watch that.

People are misunderstanding Russia's tactics here. Russia is trying to negotiate with the west at the G20. Russia wants to try to get the west to force Ukraine to allow Russia to keep the East of Ukraine and Russia will give up on the South. Russia will start attacking infrastructure in Kherson after the G20. Russia knows it can longer win this war, it just has to resort to terrorism.

Putin was too quick to annex Ukrainian territories and now he is in a position which does not allow him to negotiate any form of peace. He created an impossible situation for himself. His abilities as an astute statesman have been greatly overrated.

-He has startled the world with the revelations that his army is ineffectual, poorly led, lost most of its modern weaponry, and so the vast amount of money spent on modernising Russia’s military has, apparently, been wasted.
-He has given NATO a sense of unity and purpose it hasn’t had in decades and non-members like Finland and Sweden new reasons to join.
-His actions have driven NATO members including Germany to boost defence spending. In fact, Germany is re-arming. Meanwhile, NATO members have dispatched troops close to Russia’s border.
-He has convinced most of Europe that it must stop buying oil and gas - Russia’s most valuable exports.
-He has brought increasing sanctions and export controls on his country that will inflict generational damage on his country’s economy.
-He has crossed the Rubicon for diplomacy. No one will now believe a word he says.
Most significantly, as part of his cunning plan, he did nothing at all to prepare the Russian public for the true human, financial and material costs of his “special military operation”. This gave RT, Sputnik, and TASS maximum latitude to shape the narrative. These media outlets are thus able to report, when there are Russian reverses (such as the Rout of Kyiv, the collapse of the front near Kharkov, and the current Ukraine push towards Kherson when it succeeds), that Russia’s armies are conducting a series of triumphant retreats before a demoralized enemy who is advancing in utter disorder.
Who but Putin could have such an effect on his country, his region, and the world in general in such a short time?

I heard about the liberation at work and immediately went to my colleagues to let them know. We all celebrated with a 5 minute break and a pastry each.
Russian commanders insist watching Keystone Cops on movie night had nothing to do with how they conducted their retreat.
Russian State Media said the army took all of their vehicles and equipment with them. The video shows them running in panic across a pontoon bridge, not riding in a tank or towing their artillery.
Anyway, there are plenty of videos of plenty of abandoned Russian equipment. Reddit has loads.
