I planted blackeyed peas from the store last year. I soaked them in water for about 2 hours then put them right in the ground. Most sprouted and we had enough for a couple of meals and enough seed for me to plant this year!

Yes. And it is also the best survived food because they contain most of the nutrients your body needs. Not expensive and you can eat them every day.

Hey There! From all the research and my experience. I find beans are more productive from direct showing once in a soil of 6.0-6.5 (typically pottin' mix) & it's gotten above 50 degrees fahrenheit at night. This was an amazing video I love navy beans too!

    • @TheScaredyCatGardener

Yes! Direct sow! And actually direct sowing is my preferred method for everything. Thanks

GA Pam!! So happy to be back!! God is good ALL of the time!! 🙏 This is something I've been putting on the back burner with some Arugula seeds I have. I'm about to get serious now after watching your motivational video. Thank you for each step of the process. 💖 QUESTION: Did you ever have to spritz the towel inside the bag during the 7 days?

Your video caught my attention because there was really no information last year on navy beans, I did similar video. Always good to see a different approach. Doing at least 50 plants this upcoming year it went to well.

LOVE IT!! I have a crowded Brooklyn container garden in my little back yard. The, from Dollar Tree seed pack tomato, pepper, kale are really taking off this year. Food costs have me taking my tiny garden very serious this year. Thanks to you, I've just paper toweled my navy beans.

Oh they turned out great! I got about 1/2 cup of shelled beans so I saved them and I replanted them this year. If you watch my videos about growing 50 plants in containers you will see the new plant. It’s growing well so I planted a few more just the other day so I can have succession planting.
