I’m with you. I have a couple block planes. A craftsman and a veritas apron plane (if that last one counts, it may not). There are so many bad block planes out there, I have been soured on them. This video let me know there may be some good ones out there

i have a bunch of block planes, really useful. including one my gramps bought for me when i was about 8. i'm 66 now.
Outstanding deal for that plane. It would go for five to ten times that amount at every flea market I have been to.
