Threw away my warranty day 2 after having my F87 getting the DME bench unlocked e30, crankhub pinned no regrets. Have tuned all my cars will into their warranty, and no blown motors. Take care of her and she’ll take care of you ❤
Appreciate your honest feedback. I got an extended warrenty on my G80 and have no complaints with how fast this car is. Like you, have done a ton of exterior carbon mods but don't think it's worth tuning when it's already fast af
You speak the truth. I was at that point with my RS3 a long time a go where it was too fast (620 hp) and couldn't really enjoy it on the street. Then I fell in love with Porsches with half the power but A LOT more fun. Currently, drive a 992 S and did own a G80 M3C before. G80 is already good off the lot. If you want to make it more fun, get light weight mods (wheels, Ti exhaust, etc.) and coilovers and it'll be more fun than adding a tune IMO.
@@zooski151 lol sounds good but I can't make any promises about the begging part! 😄 that's a fear of mine that I'll let them both go and later regret it... especially the E92! But dang I can't get rid of that 911 fever haha
@@micraw714 you have your whole life to buy 911’s. I like to power slide, drift and the occasional burnout so I’ll stick to my c63s and Og m2 manual thank you. Had the Porsche bug for awhile. But it’s tamed for now as Porsche wouldn’t sell me a 992 gt3 and interest rates are ludacris. I’m looking for a e92 manual and the prices are going up.
@@zooski151 true that's a good point and sounds like you've got a killer combo! Yes same here, I got on the list for one and the salesman told me it wasn't happening lol. If interest rates continue to climb, it might present some good opportunities for those with massive down payments but yeah it's looking grim. Good luck on your search for an E92! There's a super clean manual white one on autotrader right now for 38k I believe with pretty low mileage 😁
For launching don't just mash the gas. Use 30% throttle until you get traction off the line then gradually increase. Linear tuning maps work best as well but driver mod is key
I like how you keep it real. The G82 is an expensive car. As much as I want it, I feel I could not afford it and mod it. So I'm going with the 2024 M2.
I’m thinking of going these tires on my Pure 800 M340i RWD. How do the tires perform as a daily, like in rain? I’m also in the northeast (NJ), and daily my car.
They are fine in my opinion, as long as you drive normally in the rain your fine. You could have a stock 340i or a 1000 whp build and lose control, it’s all about the right foot!
Those are Edelweiss wheels. They are probably the cheapest lightweight forged/hybrid forged option (in a good way). Check out the Edelweiss LT°3. They would look 🔥🔥🔥 on the G82😮💨
i see you still have a CEL i thought with a tune it would clear it especially if you have downpipes. getting my DME unlocked and curious if it'll go way or are you battling a specific code

I'm at a point where I'm really wanting a 911! Thinking of parting with both my E92 M3 and F87 M2 for either a 992 S or 991.2 GTS 🙂

You need to air down those drag radials to 15-20psi and heat them up. That’s how they work.
Oh yeah forgot to mention at 130 with these tires felt like i was gonna fly into a wall very squirmy. Slap some toyos or ps4s on you’ll like it more
