English assignment- This performer is excellent. I watched this video twice; once to overview the performance as a whole, and twice, to break down and figure out what made his performance so good. First, I noticed that his pronunciation was perfect. This is very important because it helps get your point across and the audience can here you clearly. Second, I noticed how he spoke faster and slower and certain times. This also helps get a point across, emphasizing which lines are more important.
i think about my girlfriend like this guy thinks about his crush and when i saw this poem in my poetry class, i thought i would never watch it again but it is now one of my all time favorites.
I'm thinking about reciting this poem to ask my friend out to prom because this is absolutely brilliant and perfectly describes my feelings for her. Absolutely amazing and very, very brilliant. Thank you, Mike. This is poetry at its best.
I love this poem. I've known about this piece for a year now and I listen to it very often. It's such a touching piece because it appeals to people in love or have crushes and everything else. Defiantly one of my top 3 favorites poems.
He also slows down and certain areas for humor, allowing the audience to pick up on his joke, and enjoy it. Last, he used the tone of his voice very well- becoming louder at certain points, and softer in others to emphasize his lines
I love this. My student teacher showed in to us in English and since then ice had to have watched it 25 times. I can't get it out of my mind. It's so amazing. I show it to everyone I can.
