💁♀️ HI I'M MELISSA MARIBEL
I help students pass Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. I used to struggle with this subject, so when I finally graduated with a bachelor's degree in Chemistry, I became a tutor so that you wouldn't have to struggle like I did. I know that with the right help, YOU CAN LEARN ANYTHING!

she taught me more in 4 minutes than what my chemistry couldn’t teach me in 6 months👏🏼👏🏼
Yay!! Happy to hear Pamela :)
Chemistry with Melissa Maribel yeahhh thank you so muchhh
Exactlyyy
Because just like me, you didn’t listen 👏 👏
Relatable
The production quality of your videos are INSANE. Keep it up Melissa!
Thank you so much for noticing!! These videos take some time but are so cool to come up with 🤓
Why your videos are underrated when infact its insanely life saving?😂
Thank you so much! Yeah, I'm trying to figure out that mystery myself!
roselyn rodrigo ikr
Switching that second H2O to HOH was a really great way for me to better conceptualize the reaction! Yay!
Yay!! 💃💯
@@melissamaribel your videos are just too amazing. don't know how to thank u
BLESS YOU!!!!!!! girl you're saving many asses with these videos. thank you!!
😂You are very welcome Johanna!
shes not lying@@melissamaribel
you make it all so simple. It's like my chemistry teacher is complicating it on purpose
Bruh during covid-19 with online teachers your channel is legit my chemistry go-to. Thx for saving us highschoolers.
Never dreamt I can learn chemistry in this easiest way... Thnx a lot man... 😊😊
that was so helpful! you taught me something which my teacher has been trying to teach me for days in 5 minutes. thank you so so much! xx
Oh wow! Happy to help 😊
🤷♂️ I’m just here to support you ❤️ i am lost again
Haha! Thank you Leo I appreciate the support 💕
Thank you so much I struggled with balancing these for months now I feel so relieved😭
I learn better in the way you keep your visuals creative and colorful!! Thank you for helping ussss 💗
Yay! So glad you like the visuals, they so fun to come up with. 😊
I actually thought I'd never learn Chemistry again but u proved me wrong
I love love love you Melissa!!!!
Thanks! The clear way you SHOW everything is super helpful, but the fact that you include links to the next step each time is perfect!
Thank you so much John! I'm so glad you like my teaching style 🤓
I literally watched about 5 videos about balancing chemical equations with polyatomic ions , and this is the only one i understand and can actually apply.
thank you, Melissa. You're a life saver!
I learned more from you than from my own teacher. keep doing you have been a great help throughout my semester
I have my end of years tomorrow and I'm more confident now, thank you sm, could you be my teacherr❤😊
you explained this topic better in 4 minutes than my teacher could in a whole 30min lecture thanks a lot :)
This was so helpful!!! I don't know what I would do without Maribel! what a great teacher!
i have a test on monday and omg these are making so much sense thank you
Thanks for your time and effort on making these videos! They are really helpful!
Thx for helping me understand more about balancing chemical equations.
Melissa, thank you so much. I've learned a ton from you, and it's been so helpful. I couldn't have passed chemistry without you.
You’re a godsend! Thank you Melissa
Thank you so much for making these videos. I’m actually doing better in chemistry now.
I have learned more from this series than I have ever from my intro to chemistry book by NIVALDO J. TRO. fyi so far I have missed 11days on a mwf schedule due to medical appointments at mid point for the sesmister...and due to her series I an now only 1 chapter behind due to her explanations.
Thank you! Now I can help my daughter with her homework! In school, I was never good enough in math to take chemistry or physics. Maybe if I watch your tutorials, I can close the gap!
You absolutely can close the gap, I once thought I wasn't good enough to be a Chemistry major, but I realized its those limiting beliefs that stop us from reaching our true potential 💕Also, if you have any questions Elaine or your daughter has any questions I am happy to direct you to any resources I have or recommend.
i am so happy and glad I came across your videos ! GREAT valuable help! Thanks !
Thank you !! After watching so many other videos you explained it the best !
You are fantastic!!! Explaining things so simply. It seems so effortless now to do this work.
Aww thank you! I'm so happy it's making sense now 🎉
Thanks you so much! I finally understand!❤
All your video content is outstanding! please keep up the hard work because you're litteraly a GPS lifesaver!
Thank you so much!
Mam your teaching explanation is awsome
You are a lifesaver! Thank you!!!

Thank you so much for this video
Thankssss!!!🙂🌝💛
omgsh I was so confused and you helped me understand perfectly!!
That's great explanation. It helped me a lot. Ma'am plz tell how three products are made from two reactants ☺
Your teaching style is super oh my God
This video helped me so much. Thank you
Mam your teaching is so beautiful
You have helped me so much...I was ready to pull my hair out and u teach it so well and understandable
I'm always happy to help prevent balding 😂
Why did you start with the irons? I keep having this problem where I don’t know where to start the balancing of the equation, thank you:)
very motivating teacher so lovely
Nice way of learning
No one can do this yet
tysm for saving my grade i have a chem test tomorrow lol
i’m about to cry thank u so much for helping me 🥺
You're very welcome!
This helped me alot
you are the best
Can you explain to me how to write a balanced half equation, for: Hydroxide ions, turning into oxygen and water molecules?
I know it is OH- --> O2 + H2O, but the normal rules don't apply for balancing such as doing the Hydrogen first.
woooowww its soooo good dear keep doing more videos like this 👌👌👌👍👍👍
I have not understood balancing for 2 weeks now. This video cleared up everything so simple! Thanks for making balancing easy. I learned more from you than my science teacher :)
Love your videos ! I did well in general chemistry thanks to these videos 💗 now I’m taking organic chemistry. 😟
Are you going to make any videos for organic chemistry ?
So happy to hear you did well in General Chemistry! I'm happy to say that I now have an Organic Chemistry Channel you can find that here: th-cam.com/channels/SzvQG5seY5dA59RIkZlicg.html
Great content!
omg this is SO CONCISE and you gave me some tips my science teacher did not
this woman is a gift from god for chemistry students
Wow, thank you!
No for real like i studied for like 3 hours the other day trying to find the right technique to balance these equations, and at these rough times when everything is closed you came through. Mark my words in a couple of years youre gonna be way bigger as a youtube creator than you are now! Much love ❤️❤️
THANK YOU SO MUCH. Also, I have a question: when do you change the charges? and how do you know when it's a subscript instead of a charge? again thank you for saving my life.
Hey Mariana, so for balancing equations you don't change any charges, remember that charges are exponents with either a positive or negative charge. You also won't change the subscript which is the little number on the bottom. I recommend reviewing naming compounds this seems to be where you need some help in. I have two videos on it. Video 1: th-cam.com/video/nijb6UMvZuE/w-d-xo.html
Video 2: th-cam.com/video/PPfLDdIfOVA/w-d-xo.html
@@melissamaribel alright, thank you so much!
Really helpful
Hi Melissa, when do you have the live tutorials?
Chemistry with Melissa Maribel REMIX!
I hope you keep making videos .
omg ty so much
why do you switch the H2O like that?????
thanks girlllll
tq so muchhh
when you have hydroxide in the reactant side and water in the product side, can you balance the hydroxide and water without changing water to HOH?
Yes you can, it takes a little bit longer but it's just another way to balance it.
Life saver
Thanks friend ;3
I get it. but it's kinda harder for me to follow along and understand this way. I liked it better when you would write it out the way you did in your last video on balancing equations in 2017. Thank you tho!
When my teacher kept telling me to change h2o to HOH i didnt understand but now omg eveything is comming together
Yay!!!! Yeah sometimes it just takes seeing it a different way or multiple times for that aha moment 🤓
I love you 😭♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
Thanks love 💕
What if there’s on polyatomic ion in equation
I meant one
Ty
You're welcome 😊
You are awesome 😍😍
Aww thank you!
One polyatomic ion in equation?
Everything has to balance out so there is typically the same polyatomic ion on each side. Was there a specific example you were thinking of?
Nh3(g)+h20(l)_____>nh4Oh(aq)
Nh3(g)+h20(l)_____>nh4Oh(aq)
u explain faster test tubes might break
I love you
im cooked😭
:-D:-D:-D
Thank you so much for your wonderful videos!
you need a master class for teachers, you make science approachable
You mad this SO MUCH EAISER than my teacher thank you so much you save my test grade for tm
Is there any where u predict the product side including H20 and O2 etcccccc. Like this one. It genuinely confuses me 😩
I wish you were my chem professor in uni 😭😭😭😭😭
You the best Mellisa Maribel and God bless you
these help so much you truly are a blessing
this rlly helped me! thank u so much!
love these videos, esp LOVED your electron configuration vid! also at 3:21, I noticed that there's 6 H20 on the right and only 2 H2 on the left, and 3 SO4 on the right and only 1 SO4 on the left, so does H2SO4 need to have a 3 coefficient? 😯
thank you always
Melissa Maribel Saving student lives over here. The only thing I would ask is for you to include a practice question on all of your videos that way I am certain I can do it on my own thanks for your content
I swear all ur videos r so underrated 😥😥😥😥😥😥... i wish if i could do something for ur great effort 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
