Cat, For free motion Porten, it doesn’t matter what foot you use. You just want to find one that you have good visibility on. If you are doing a little work, you must have a ruler foot, and a ruler base. Happy new year.
Robbie Carpenter, I’m certainly hoping that business slows down a touch and gives me the time to shoot more. Watching this full screen on a computer is a lot easier to see. On my phone, it was a bit hard to follow. I’m very sorry about that. Thank you for your advice and have a great day!
I appreciate your teaching style & love your videos. Unfortunately, I couldn’t see this design at all. I will try using the computer
I’d love to see more of your quilting. You’re a skilled teacher and quilter! 😀❤️
Cate, thank you so much for your kindness! I’m really hoping to get to record more :)
Very helpful. I wish you could do it again on a solid fabric so it would be easier to see the details. Nice work.
Brenda Sierdsma thank you! I do have solid fabric I’ve lined up for videos in early 2019. I’m hoping I can shoot more on feathers and things!
I am new at long arm quilting, just got one for Christmas. Question: does it matter what foot you using? I only have one that came with the machine.

Are you sing a innova? Did you have it on SR?
Patty C, yes and yes!
I too would appreciate seeing it on a solid fabric, I couldn't really follow the pattern.
