Very useful, especially the "boundary fill" command. But the dimple you made still has a hole in it, even after the boundary fill command. The dimple shown in the actual metal bracket at the beginning of the video had no hole in it. Is it possible to make a dimple tool that will produce a "real life" dimple? Thanks.
Hi tzampini Thank you for watching! Sorry I should have explained that the dimple Briston was looking for had a whole through the part. There are different types. If I had kept the top and bottom of the tool seperate (gab between them) then it would have been like the part I showed
Thank you, Lars. I want to thank you for all the effort you put into these live streams. They all are extremely useful and I, for one, greatly appreciate them.
Hi Lars What we actually need is a Punch Tool like in Inventor. SM in Fusion is very basic for now We are missing Cut Normal, Corner Seam, Hem,Bend.... But nice video Dan
Hi Dan Margulius Thank you for watching! I don't disagree. I would recommend that you use the Fusion 360 idea station. You will have a lot move power to make this happen than I will. Best, Lars
Hello. Just another good video :) Looking forward to the 100th episode (haven't seen them all but work in on it) I have been using Fusion now for 14 days and things are getting better, but there is 2 things I wonder if you can answer me. I know you have shown us how to change the "pan, zoom, orbit" settings in preferences but !!! and it is driving me crazy :) is there a way to change the pan and orbit only. You see I feel it is unnormal to hold shift and the middle button to orbit and want it to be shift and middelbutton to pan.. 99% of the time drawing I want to pan to look at the part and sheldom want to pan all the time. (also in sketchup :) it is that way he he he) So is there a fix? non of the choices does this right. And last is there a way to hide the dimentions when in the sketch? now I can turn them off when I have stopped the sketch, but man !! them dimentions and lines are in the way all the time :) Besides for this, it is a great program and love your vids, keep them coming. Hi Norwegianwoodworker Thank you for watching! That is some super good questions.....sadly, as of now, no to both of them. I would especially buy someone on the development team a steak dinner and free drinks if they could make number one happen. Best, Lars

Have trouble in sheet metal mitring parts in assembly
fantastic! thank you! so this could be used for other things like stamped/punched vents, etc.?
