@@DetourShirts Forgot to write: 30 designs in 1 day. But the difficult part is the background remouvel and and the sometimes long editing time., even with my mid-advanced Photoshop knowledge.
question: are the creations in the paid plans private? can we pick if they are or do some go live as public? and yes, do more videos on it, would be cool
Im trying it while watching this video, in my opinion the result is so impressive, there're some options like product type as tshirt, hat, etc for suggestion , and the design style like retro, kawaii, minimalist .. But to make wild image and more image expression with combination text on it, Ideogram is still better
Thanks for the feedback... Ideogram is great but it definitely has a big head start. Remember this app is still in Beta and this one is made with Print on Demand in mind so I'm excited to see all the specific POD improvements moving forward.
I'd like to see more POD templates like for shoes, aprons, lampshades, rucksacks, etc because I'm only seeing the basic ones in mysticpod. Also it would be great if you could put these final designs into mockups. I'd ideally like the POD Ai to create everything from start to finish ready for loading onto a POD website. I could be wrong but it is not going far enough on the production side. You still have to take the design and place it on a product in the POD website and manage the descriptions and tags. I can imagine it would be very costly to generate all these designs for POD as people are producing tons of designs. All types of Ai progs currently have costly credits which are prohibitive. You could end up spending far too much - more than you could ever have anticipated for the production of artwork.
The background remover needs to be more effective to be worthwhile, in my opinion. Most of our POD designs require background removal, and based on your example with the sheep, the current remover doesn’t perform well enough. This is a critical feature we can't overlook.
Thanks for the comment. After doing this video, Chris explained there is a better background remover in the settings (background 2.0) that I didn't turn on which does a better job and that they are also working on it to make it even better.
The upscaler on images is still only 72 dpi which is not good for prints unfortunately so you're forced to use vectors and converting to an image with higher DPI if you don't want to use vectors or can't depending on your software.
Thanks for this hint, Junna. It would be great is this tool could be integrated to all pod platforms and upload automatically all the fields like titles, bullets and on.
Juna, you rock, thanks so much! 🙂Can I edit vectors also with Photopea or only with the tools you mentioned like Affinity Designer? Also, would you now recommend Mystic over Ideogram or Kittl? Again, thanks.
You can only edit vectors with vector art programs like affinity designer, illustrator or Inkscape. There are some things that Mystic can do that Kittl and Ideogram can’t do but it’s still in beta and still need some time to do more. I would imagine that when it’s out of beta it would be closer to Ideogram and not a full graphics app like Kittl but time will tell. If you have things you want it to do please give them feedback.
That you will have to decide by which one gives you the output you are looking for. Try the same prompts on all 3 and look at the results. Ideogram may have better text results but if that doesn’t matter than maybe you will just look at the graphics.
This is fantastic. So good at image styles and text, and the ease of use, with vectorising and background removal and creating collections so easily!... If the results from original prompts is as good as from Midjourney, it will give it a run for the money!

Need a better background remover or it's not really worth it, in my opinion. Majority of our POD designs need the background removed. And from your example of the sheep, the background remover isn't very good. That's too important to overlook.
@@ChrisHeckman Haven't tried it myself yet, but we can do AI anywhere. But a quality background remover is vital. So, if you have good AI, especially with words and sentences, along with an excellent background remover, this app could be a winner. I would definitely try it out then.

I love Mystic AI. If you run into any snags their customer service is awesome. It does well with the graphics cards n my experience. As far as background removal goes, I use other programs for that.
Yes you can I've been doing it since January and have been getting sales... see this video here...th-cam.com/video/Af3UbhjKbKs/w-d-xo.htmlsi=OnzwO2Ohfs9gyOFz People using the same prompt may get a similar design but your job as a seller is to try and create something different. On the Vectorized image at 14:32 to 14:43, you removed the shadows. I am new to POD. Can you please help explain the process what we have to do.
Could you please do another How To Video 2024 for e.g. Amazon Merch on Demand at some point? I've been out for a long time and would like to get back into it.
@@DetourShirts For beta, I wouldn't pay more than $10 a month for now. And it would need to have unlimited collections. I did try it out, some designs the text is misspelled or the graphic had anomalies so it took more than one try to get what I wanted. That uses up a fair amount of credits.
I don't see how anyone can stand out in this POD market when you have 100,000+ people all using the same programs creating the similar designs and slogans, everybody's stuff looks the same and if someone comes up with a new design a thousand people copy it over night? Can you address this and how a new seller can stand out?
Stand out by thinking different. Create prompts and graphic no one else would think of, things you don't see. Use AI to brainstorm not copy. Do the things that haven't been done.
This is the constant battle with POD. I had an original bestselling design on Etsy that made me thousands in profit in a few weeks. I Immediately noticed copycats popping up and eventually there were so many I stopped making sales. You have to pioneer original ideas and expect people to rip them off when they do well.
I wanted to leave the trees black and not transparent. How do you do that? Und I already had white letters for motifs that were not cut out but were supposed to be transparent (to match the color of the t-shirt)
As you know I love AI and how it makes our profession so much easier, but it has one big disadvantage. It makes the entry level to POD easier and easier. Everybody and their dogs will be able to do POD. There's almost no design process involved anymore. Also design idea brainstorming, keyword research, listing, etc etc. Don't get me wrong.
