Hey Juna, you can easily create a white outline around the image in canva by using the shadows effect - glow - then increase size, set the blur amount to zero - change color to white - and adjust the intensity to 100. Hope it helps!
Awesome! I use “linocut style” instead of vector sometimes for a more natural feel or mimic other printing techniques like silkscreen and such. Generates a bit rougher lines not so clean as vector depending on the theme might work out
❤ Affinity design products are my tools of choice, and now they are part of Canva. The possibilities will be endless. So inspiring and helpful! Thank you!
Hey Juna cool tutorial, I missed these. Have you tried the new edit tools in Dalle 3. The edit button lets you keep the image but just change one part. Instead of regenerating a whole new picture. It is super helpful. Your next video should be about Vexels new Ai function they are promoting.
As a bonafide book nerd, I really enjoyed this video, Juna. Your search word bookworm has a very steady search rate on Google Trends, so it's definitely an evergreen niche. I think you could do a tutorial like this for other evergreen niches and the videos would remain relevant for your followers to learn from for at least another year. These design tools keep getting better and better. I wonder what we'll be designing this time next year? 👍☺️💖💕
Very interesting video and thank you so much for making and uploading:)😊 I have never used Chat GTP as I guess I've been lazy and either relied on producing my own graphics in Adobe Illustrator or using Leonardo AI. But I am intrigued by the graphics style of artwork produced via ChatGTP and really need to make time to fully experiment with it after being so impressed with the Graphics you have originated there. Thank you once again, it's all very impressive:)😊
Great video as always. Thanks!!! I started my own website all thanks to you Sensei. Just trying to figure out the marketing part. Free Instagram and Facebook marketing is more difficult than designing.
Always great tutorials. I'd love to see one where you do the keyword research and listings. I know you are primarily design tutorials though. I just like your teaching style.
Hi Juna, thank you again for another great video! Is it possible to include timestamps in this video, just because I like to rewatch it again while I practice and would be much more efficient to know which part of the video I am watching, just like how you always timestamp your other tutorial videos!
Maybe in your next video you'll explain why you don't use the vectorizing option in Illustrator? It's faster and have much control especially with small color palette.
I usually don't because I like keeping all the details but in this case I think it would have been okay.... for example the princess one would not have been a good vector candidate
Thank you for your tutorial, Juna! I was following the tutorial. It was fun to generate the images on the Chatgpt, but I had a hard time using the pen tool...just need to practice more. If I want to use the upscaled image to make a sticker or T shirt on Kittl, can I skip the work of making the stroke on Affinity designer after removing the background? Thank you!
Hi Juna awesome video as always, question I realized you didn't use the princess reading a book that it wouldn't print well on a t-shirt is there a video I could watch on what prints well and bad on a t-shirt. Thanks.
What is the proper pixel for making on T-shirt? pixel from chat GPT I think it is around 1024x1024 for square size, is it okay if I do not up scale it but I expand its size by adjusting directly for example by photoshop and change its size to be around 3000x3000 even though its pixel is quite not smooth when I zoom it closely, what is your final pixel after upscale that you think it is proper for making t-shirt?
Yes it is 1024x1024... you can stretch it to a point but the more you stretch it the more pixelated it will be. Changing it to 3000x3000 will double the size of the pixels so if you don't mind that... the edges and straight lines may look jagged so take a look at that before uploading.
Thank you Juna!! I’m going something wrong, new Designer user, I’m not getting a transparent background when I remove the background. I’ll watch again, but do you know what I’m doing incorrectly ?
There are two steps... Make sure the background is transparent not white.... Make sure to select the artboard and export as a PNG and Area should be Selection Only
Are there like maybe two main apps that do it all so we don't have to go from one app to the another app, to another app? It's o er whelming all these apps to make a product to upload to redbubble or other selling sites. Ugh, can infinity design do the upscaling 6 times and remove back ground and everything thing else? Just wondering 🤔 🙂
The closest thing to that would be Kittl. Kittl has AI. It can upscale, remove the background and vectorize if you want to go that route. It can also create a full design for a t-shirt and save your final design as a transparent PNG.
Hi Juna, thanks for the tutorial. I don’t understand. At 22:43 you said we could just change it to a vector. Do you have a video that shows how to do that and why do we need to change to a vector if it’s upscaled? Is it only because you needed to add a stroke or is there another reason? Just seems like too much work and too many tools. Is there one ai tool that does it all, that doesn’t have this problem?
@@DetourShirts No idea. I tried deleting the text and redo it - kept having the same problem, so ended up doing it manually. Turned out okay, I think. :)
I been learning so much thank is appreciated how useful tip you give I bought a course all in there is just a video how it end up with the design not the process how is done 😢hate ir really I fall sleep because how boring the video was! Keep on talking not showing how to actually make the design! 😅

Nope.... let make good designs with AI images.... just flooding PODs is not a great strategy. No matter where you get your graphics from you will still need to create designs that people want to buy. Don't get this part mistaken. It's not about just quantity. It's about having the right designs.
