My Too 10 JRPG on the Switch are: 10. Super Mario RPG 9. Shin Megami Tensei 5 8. Triangle Strategy 7. XenoBalde Chronicles 2 with Torna DLC 6. Fire Emblem Engage 5. Persona 4 Golden 4. Fire Emblem Three Houses 3. XenoBlade Chronicle Definitive Edition 2. XenoBlade Chronicles 3 with Future Redeemed DLC 1. Persona 5 Royal
I finally started the Trails series and just finished the first trilogy, I'm super glad I did those games were fantastic and I'm so excited to jump into all the others. Definitely deserve more recognition and I'm super glad they're getting a little more spotlight with the FC remake.
As a man who's played them all, try Persona sooner rather than later. You're saving dessert for last, but honestly, we're adults, lets eat ice cream for lunch. 😂
Tokyo Mirage Sessions was one of the reasons I bought a Switch, it's Exclusive too! (It was never on WiiU😑) TMS is Atlus' fluffy, fun, black sheep compared to SMTV.
Tokyo mirage was on Wiiu however they added a couple more things to the switch version. I bought it all over again on my switch and I was not disappointed at all
Great list with great games. The only one on the list I don't own (or have ever played) is the Trails game. I've heard the series is good, but while I've always been interested in it, I want to play the games in order and I have no idea which game is even first in the series, let alone the order of all the others.
this is the order: -Trails in the Sky trilogy, sadly none of them on Switch, but the remake of the first is coming to switch at least (to be released next year in japan) -Trails from Zero -Trails to Azure -Trails of Cold Steel I-IV, all on switch, sadly the first two are not in english because of publishing rights or something like that (all trails in english on PC anyway) -Trails into Reverie -Trails through Daybreak I and II -Kai no Kiseki, not yet released in english, so no official name yet There's also Legend of Nayuta: Boundless Trails, a sort of spin-off. Is not in the same world the conection is more in the style of the game or something like that, dont really need to played it (unless you want to, of course, seems to be a good game anyway)
@@CalebCrazyVampire Brilliant, thank you so much. I really appreciate the info. I don't know if I'll be able to actually get all of them, but now that I know the order of the games I'll definitely be on the lookout.
You should really retitle this to "Nintendo Switch JRPGs", not "RPGs". Cause your list is missing countless RPG titans. Divinity: Original Sin 2 Witcher 3 Disco Elysium Hogwarts Legacy KotoR Kingdom Come: Deliverance Metro 2033/Last Light Skyrim Planescape: Torment Diablo 2 Baldur's Gate 2 Your list still has some decent picks for JRPGs but calling it RPGs in general is kinda misleading.
I respect the time you took to comment however all of these suggestions are either: a) multiple generations old (PlaneScape Torment came out in 1999) b) the worst way of playing these games with their Switch versions or c) not RPGs (Metro?)
@@CulturedVultures Every single multiplat game you listed is worst played on switch, if you think Switch is the worst platforms to play those games. P5R, Octo 2, Triangle Strategy, all have higher res and framerate with minimal loadtimes on every other option (plus mods on PC!). I just sort of assumed you weren't considering platform choice and were only concerned with whether the game was on switch at all.
It took me a while to adjust and to have it click, especially Xenoblade Chronicles 2, but once I practiced and put the time in it felt really rewarding, I like 3's combat the most though. I can understand some people bouncing off it though.
All I learned from this video is that I don't want to visit London
My Too 10 JRPG on the Switch are:
10. Super Mario RPG
9. Shin Megami Tensei 5
8. Triangle Strategy
7. XenoBalde Chronicles 2 with Torna DLC
6. Fire Emblem Engage
5. Persona 4 Golden
4. Fire Emblem Three Houses
3. XenoBlade Chronicle Definitive Edition
2. XenoBlade Chronicles 3 with Future Redeemed DLC
1. Persona 5 Royal
Shin Megami Tensei 5 on the switch is... Not bad, but really rough. Play the newest release on a different console.
Great list guys! Love to see these retro style games in modern fps and resolution!

I just got hooked in by the demo of Romancing Saga 2.
Wii RPG List - Yes please!!
3 houses is the only tactical rpg I've ever gotten my wife to play. Money well spent.
it's such a good introduction to the series and genre!
Some excellent suggestions, thanks!
Tokyo Mirage Sessions goes on my honorable mentions. I was so happy when it was ported from the Wii U so more folks could play it.
Good choices
Great Stuff, as always!
I keep hearing good things about Persona, but there are too many other RPGs I’d rather try first.
As a man who's played them all, try Persona sooner rather than later. You're saving dessert for last, but honestly, we're adults, lets eat ice cream for lunch. 😂
As a big fan of games like FFX, I loved Persona 5 Royal. I heard good things about Yakuza games too but Persona managed to hook me.
Just go for it, I tried persona 4 golden last year after years of putting it off and it's on my short list of best rpgs ever now
They aren't as good as persona

@@xenonmaximus1 I was joking about the WiiU, taking a jab at it's ignored existence.

Skull is the GOAT
Triangle Strategy’s cutscenes were super long. Seriously, it was like FFT mixed with Xenosaga
Xenoblade Chronicles 2: "Don't Forget Me!!"
I come from the future Xenoblade Chronicles X is getting a switch port it's no longer stuck on the Wii u
RIP Yuzu and Ryujinx.
Did Unicorn Overlord come to the Switch?
yes, from day 1
No Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD?
Algo - rhyth - huim.
No Disgaea games? What a joke.
Where is Chained Echoes ???
in our Switch hidden gems video
🤠
Sigh i knew this was gonna be a list of non Nintendo switch exclusives that are better played on ps5
there aren't ten Nintendo published RPGs on the system so that and the fact that "exclusive" is not in the title...maybe should have given that away?

Am I the only one who can't stand the Xenoblade games? The combat system is AWFUL.
No, you just have Bad Taste l; and you don’t like Action RPG
