My favorite thing about you Mark is that you are one of the few that actually seem to do their homework and research before making a youtube video. You may not be a chemist, but everyone can tell your videos are backed by science, diligent research, years of experience and passion!
My plants are doing great this year. I used cow manure mixed soil. 20/20/20 until july 10 . 15/30/15 until sept with 2 waterings with 28/5/5. I will be straight ph water for the rest of the season. One of my plants is 8 foot tall. My top bud is 2 foot and solid. I only pulled 1 leaf of the plant. Every leaf on the plant is still perfectly green and the are loving the sun. I may show them when its closer to harvest. Also grew 110 lbs of potatoes . Been a great year

I had this issue with the FFOF soil using the FF trio of nutrients (1/3 strength). I did a lot of leaf plucking and ended up being okay but that soil is definitely hot.
Hi, do you have any idea what might cause rust spots on plants leaves that are green? Seemed to be older leaves first so maybe it’s mobile. But they look healthy as can be. Just a few single blades that have rust spots developing in center of the blade. It’s not the whole leaf yet . There’s no lightening of the leaves or anything. I have no clue. Thanks for any help. I’ve also seen this on other guys videos. They said it was ph but I don’t think so or more do the plant would show up deficient I’d think.

I'm using general hydroponic maxigrow/ maxibloom / cool bloom /cal+mag + GH pH up/ down kit to test I keep water at 6.0- 7.0 pH .. any advice on using these particular products in soil outdoors ... Specifically in 18 gallon containers .. Using any gh product at twice the recommended dose, will definitely cause nutrient lock out from overfeeding. You probably burnt the roots, leaving the plant unable to uptake nutrients. If you're not using a device to measure ec/ppm,I'd start there in the future. 🍻
Yes Dennis I use a ec/ppm pen .no burn on plants just yellowing / whitening of older leaves but moving up with rust ,spots/marks on the lite color leaves .I water dry a day. feed dry a day water, dry a day water dry a day ,feed . And so on... I use 1,1/2 tea spoon pre gallon I use 3 gal per pot to feed ..maybe over watering ?? I got good drainage .like try a recalibration of my test pens ..thank you anyways ✌️
Isn't interveinal chlorosis when the veins stay green and the the leaf between the veins yellows. The pics show veinal chlorosis or complete chlorosis, not interveinal chlorosis. Interveinal chlorosis would have green veins instead of yellow.
When the tips of the big leaves are turning brown start backing off on the food just getting water for a couple weeks the start in the big leaves will start your own back that's all you have to do

@@garyphisher7375 i always finsh feeding 40 days in. And flushing ( next 8 + days only water) you can tell works when the plants Nutrients are washed out or used up ... but if you are growing in colder climates, you have to be carefull. The plants could stop drinking and become stale.

The cal nitrate is the only thing in those fertilizers that is man made the rest are extracted from the same minerals that are added to organic fertilizer. So mineral based fertilizer isint as different from organic as people think. Let us not forget that arsenic and crude oil are all natural, organic, non gmo, no msg and any other tag that makes you feel better. But that still doesn’t change what they are.
Say you have 200 paying supporters which want to ask a question at the same time ... how do you prioritize them? I guess you could offer upgraded membership perks for some more cash as kind of pyramid scheme ^^

Hey man, I’m not here to cause any drama or beef, but I have to point out that in your video you have made a grave error with something you have said. In the nutrient lines section, you state that there are only 3-4 components of the nutrient your looking at, that are “natural” and that the rest (coloured in red) are not found in nature. The fact is that this is completely and utterly untrue. First off, these arnt chemicals, they are all metals and elements. 9/15 in the top row are found in nature, as are 5 in the bottom row. The rest of the things on that list are in fact everywhere in nature too and they are also just metals and or elements, altho they have been attached to a chelating compound (chemical) that has lone pair electrons for bonding with metal ions, which is the same as what happens in nature, but done in advance so the plant doesn’t have to wait for organic material to decompose before it can absorb and use it. Basically everything in there including the anti-caking agent is natural, because it was all ultimately created in stars, dug out rocks and from the air and put in that bag.

(Very slow water make sure to have complete soil penitration and let sit for 24 - 48hrs prior to transplanting)
2. Add 1ml per gallon of drops of balance every watering & feeding with fermented BAM @ 15ml - 30mls per gallon.
3. Foilor once a week @ 4mls per gallon of drops of balance

Yes 100% that is one of tge may signs to p & k tox

This looks like what I'm going through. But it looks like both a deficiency and a toxicity. Hard to determine which one.
Because you only give a flower potash for the first half of flower to swell out buds then switch to potassium to mature the flower.

I tried fox farm and I stopped fairly quickly, every time I used it the plants would react in negitive ways visibly after each feeding. I wont use that💩again. Looking at that chart seeing it loaded with man made 💩 makes sence to me...thx mark!
Yup tossed all that shit and went organic amending soil and haven't looked back

Young buck think they know it all
❤️LOVE your channel and advice.
Thankyou 🙏
Fantastic and understandable thanks👍
Giving a timeframe of when you might see a toxicity/defic is sorta irrelevant considering growers can add more at any point causing issues.
I started growing 28 years ago and i feel like everyone will find that all this is over thinking
(Just transplant or aerate. And be sure to flush ) 😉
what's flush - how and when should I do it?
@@garyphisher7375 i always finsh feeding 40 days in. And flushing ( next 8 + days only water) you can tell works when the plants Nutrients are washed out or used up ... but if you are growing in colder climates, you have to be carefull. The plants could stop drinking and become stale.
Yeah bro to many TH-cam cannabis “ growers” yet never see a pic. And they are telling newbies if u live in north east h can’t grow photos they won’t make it lmao 😂. He sponsored by a auto company so I see what he’s doin. But iMO the whole point of having a cannabis channel is to help not hurt newer growers. I call him out on the regular telling his followers that I’ve brown haze in New Jersey and harvested her after Halloween they are pretty strong plants. Keep up with the great videos and correct info or atleast your opinion and u say that. I respect that I put your channel on to my younger brother and his friends cause they harass the fuk out me for advice
😆 your last sentence made me laugh
Ty broi appreciate you
Good thing no one ever has a potash deficiency.. rare

Less is more an old timer RIP Phil.
That was like 9 words worth of information spread out over 350 words.
I bet no one can really tell exactly what is wrong with a plant outside of a light too close, over watering or under watering.
I can
I thought you were gonna talk about banana peels?
that was part of the joke
I Love You....urgh
I mean I Love Your movies!
Good info but it's a long add
zero dislikes all speaks for itself
TH-cam removed the dislike feature to show the count 😂
@@Just_A_Name14 ;))

Say you have 200 paying supporters which want to ask a question at the same time ... how do you prioritize them? I guess you could offer upgraded membership perks for some more cash as kind of pyramid scheme ^^
@@kinngrimm I'm pretty good at answering most peoples questions
@@PerfectGardensTV :) well you didn't answer mine now did ya hrhr
Then again who wants to think about oneself as 'most people' o_0
Anyways sorry if i come over as confrontational, which i sure am at times, but it was just ment as a little sarcastic jab towards your self-promotion. You got good content, which i respect.
I would like to see something you actually grew 🤔
I post a lot of picture on the Mushroom farm at least the pictures the cops didn't take & a lot of pictures and video from my outdoor (6 green houses in king city from 2013-2015) Check out my older videos if you want to see that stuff.
That’s the nutrients burn, not deficiency ☝️
Nutrition burns are at the tip of leaves
😁
Epsom salt!!!!
