Like this turn from Base to Final is where most crashes happen according to FAA.

maybe so for those who don't know how to fly it, look again and note the co pilot turn coordinator, that's the key when slow and close to the ground in a bank

Don't waste your time Skyhawk. "Captain" Wagner does not understand the concept of risk management or hazardous attitudes. AOPA recommends 30 degrees of maximum bank in the pattern. The FAA Airplane Flying Handbook on page 8-3 identifies a steep bank from base to final as "risky" and "hazardous" by saying "Normally, it is recommended that the angle of bank not exceed a medium bank because the steeper the angle of bank, the higher the airspeed at which the airplane stalls. Since the base-to-final turn is made at a relatively low altitude, it is important that a stall not occur at this point. If an extremely steep bank is needed to prevent overshooting the proper final approach path, it is advisable to discontinue the approach, go around, and plan to start the turn earlier on the next approach rather than risk a hazardous situation".
Further, he is showing 3 of the 5 FAA's hazardous attitudes - "Anti-Authority, Don't tell me" (example - his answer to you), invulnerability (I have the ball centered, it won't happen to me) and macho: “I can do it!. Pilots with a macho attitude are always trying to impress others and prove themselves by taking unnecessary risks. Both men and women are susceptible to a macho attitude, which leads to foolish and often dangerous behavior. While pilots must have a high level of confidence in their abilities, it’s important to avoid becoming overconfident and adopting a macho attitude".

@@richardsteckel2814 I wonder what the AOA was. The decent rate stays at around -500 during the steepest part of the turn, which means there was quite a lot of back pressure on the yoke. At that altitude, it wouldn't matter if a stall happened in coordinated flight or not, all that matters is AOA. I'm sure he was watching the AOA indicator, but just didn't mention it in his comment.

Jerry, there's probably a transistor that's weak in the controller that needs to be replaced. Autopilot Central in Tulsa can check it for you.

Thanks for the explanation of fuel flow to the engines and discription of instruments, avionics and navigation system in the 421B.
You mentioned the LP approach. It's the first time hearing that.
Fun fact: there was 282 LP approaches in 1992 (Google assistant).
